If you feel tired or just too formal, why not sit it out for the Mass?
Here's from a newest member of the GULP:
(Kapanata Community 6th Local House Chapter and Community Mass...
Special thanks to ______________ and family for the beautiful accomodation and delicious lunch... — in Caloocan)
The priest is OFM.
Those in attendance are seminarians.
If this is how we train our seminarians, don't expect to get priests who are respectful of the Mass which Vatican II declared as the "source and summit of our Faith".
How to stop these men from doing this abuse?
If you catch them doing it, take a picture, send to TPC.
Second, don't support them financially until they celebrate the Mass reverently.
Pray for them too.
Sometimes, or most of the time, some clerics will think twice if they lose the support.

Blame Fr. Diwa and other proponents of Communion in the Hand!
This is a screengrab of the "performance artist's" (ring a bell? Yup. Carlita Celdran the tour gay of Intramuros.) Instagram account proudly showing his "art" in the form of the not-so-politically correct way of sending his message. He claims to have collected "242 pieces of consecrated hosts" which he used to place on the concrete pavement to spell "pederasty". You can read more about this here.
For the uninformed, Pederasty is the homosexual activity between a man and a pubescent or adolescent boy, or in today's language, before the age of consent. This became prominent in the 6th century especially in Athenian Greece. It was evidently a jab against the Catholic Church and the sex abuse scandal. It was evidently implying that there is a culture of pederasty in the Church.
To dissect this event we can look at it at both ways.
The Celdranite says that he was able to collect the hosts by attending Mass. If we put that in numbers, he would have at least attended every single Mass every day for a whole year to accomplish that. How would the hosts not deteriorated?
If he attended Mass 4 times in a day, it would have taken him at least 60 days to accomplish that collection. If that were the case, does this guy even have a real job? Or he does
Or it could be that these hosts are not actually consecrated and are just used for publicity.
Well, the "artist", the organizers and the City Council of Pamplona who allowed this to happen got the publicity they got as lawsuits left and right are filed against them.
Which now begs the question...
Will this "collection" ever happen if Communion were distributed on the tongue?
News of host desecration, hosts being found under pews and on the floors of churches and chapels continue to abound.
And we have liturgists who flaunt their degrees and certificates in Liturgy but do not do anything against liturgical abuse?
I'd blame them for this!
I'd blame them for the continuing lost of the sens of the sacred of the people!
I'd blame them over and over again!
PS: And we have seminarians being trained this way!
If we have future priests like this, God save your Church!

The barong is this priest's liturgical vestment
Obviously, he doesn't care what he wears to a very important event like the The Sacrifice of Calvary.
Or maybe he does. This priest must be thinking that the barong is THE right vestment for the Mass.
So why even ask people to dress properly for Holy Mass when priests themselves don't know how to follow their own rules?
The members of the GULP are still active in case you didn't notice.

GULP Alert: The Augustinians of Intramuros PART 2!
More photos of the creative liturgical abuse of the Augustinians of San Agustin, Intramuros, Manila.
Hmm...nothing wrong here.... Oh! Stole over habit.
Are they in the Mass or lunging around?
And here it is.
Sit down consecration.
They must be relaxed when doing a holy thing.
Jesus did it that way too di ba?
But the difference is, are we living in the time of Jesus?
If so, where are the bitter herbs and the chants in Hebrew?
And what is that oddly placed table runner doing there?

GULP Alert: The Augustinians teach us to DISOBEY the Church
How?
Like this.
They do this even if Church legislation says this:
If you have priests and seminarians like these, men who are consecrated to perform holy actions, men who are expected to teach us what Holy Mother Church teaches, men who are supposed to tell us what is right, not show us what is wrong and openly defy the Church.
If you have men like these, who needs Martin Luther again?
No wonder a lot of liturgical abusers are out to destroy TPC.
Like this.
They do this even if Church legislation says this:
The priest then takes the paten or ciborium and goes to the communicants, who, as a rule, approach in a procession.
The faithful are not permitted to take up the consecrated bread or the sacred chalice themselves, and still less hand them on to one another. The faithful may communicate either standing or kneeling, as established by the Conference of Bishops. However, when they communicate standing, it is recommended that they make an appropriate gesture of reverence, to be laid down in the same norms, before receiving the Sacrament. (General Instruction of the Roman Missal no. 160)
It is not licit for the faithful “to take . . . by themselves . . . and, still less, to hand . . . from one to another” the sacred host or the sacred chalice. Moreover, in this regard, the abuse is to be set aside whereby spouses administer Holy Communion to each other at a Nuptial Mass. (Redemptionis Sacramentum no. 94)

GULP Alert: Creativity Mass of the Augustinians of Intramuros
Just as I promised in my previous post, here are the photos of that "creativity" Mass, which for the looks of it, is nothing creative at all.
More like destructive Mass, as it deformed the Mass that was given to us.
Can someone send a note to the Augustinians of Intramuros to stop whatever they are doing. They are MISEDUCATING their seminarians! This is not the way to teach future priests to perform holy acts!
Shame!
More photos coming soon!
More like destructive Mass, as it deformed the Mass that was given to us.
Someone was preaching either the homily or was the psalmist of the Mass. The deacon well.... He is actually sitting on what looks like a box used as a drum, whatever you call that.
During "Ecce Agnus Dei". All three priests remained seated. How comfy!
At least one BRAVE soul dared kneeling! We should get to know this guy!
So it is a Lobby Mass. They get so bored in the chapel or in their World Heritage Site church, they did something "creative". Mass at the lobby of the monastery and using the coffeetable as the "altar". While everyone sits on the floor, except the priests who are obviously more deserving of the seats rather than being on the floor. And what on earth are those behind the priest?!?! Is that supposed to be St. Augustine? Is this a seminary or a kindergarten?
And the coup de grace!
Serve yourself, buffet style Communion! Very common in retreat houses and houses of formation for both priests and religious brothers and sisters!
So this is too boring for them...

Meanwhile, somewhere in Molo, Iloilo
Not even the gnarly little fingers of Geny can influence the priests here to take away the crucifix at the center of the altar!
Bring back the crucifix at the center of the altar, not on the side, but at the center and on the altar!
This is the Benedictine Altar arrangement. Benedictine meaning from the liturgical influence of Pope emeritus Benedict XVI and not the Benedictine monk who started the liturgical nonsense in the country.
TPC Kudos to the parish priest of St. Anne Parish in Iloilo! You make your church befitting as a house of worship! God bless you Father!!!
Kudos too to the TPC reader who sent this via Facebook.
A new "religious item" inside San Bartolome de Novaliches!
While "great" liturgists would like to take away the altar crucifix because it is "too distracting" and blocks the uber cute face of the main celebrant during Mass, there are those priests who would not think twice to place a vehicle inside the church as a "juicy" reminder for people that this is what is at stake for their fund raising raffle like this one in San Bartolome de Novaliches.
This church gained the notoriety of always coming up with fund raisers only to be gone as fast as an Advil Liquigel in your tummy!
Nothing wrong with fund raisers. Many churches do that. But not the INC fund raiser where if you don't give your money and promise unconditional obedience, they threaten you with hell and kidnap your family and throw grenades at you and stuff like that...
But is this the best place for the car?
San Bartolome de Novaliches is a big church and I have seen it many times that I visited that church. There is a lot of space there where they could display the car.
If they can value a car like this, maybe they can do that for MUST SEE IMAGES in the church, no? Like an altar crucifix and more images?
I see more electric fans that images in that church.
PS: Thanks to a new GULP member for these!

The Augustinians of Intramuros don't want TPC to see this
But the GULP (God's Undercover Liturgical Police) is everywhere and they always report to TPC.
And here is what they do not want to be seen.
And here is what they do not want to be seen.
Creative Mass?
No wonder they do not want this seen.
Obviously, while most of us Filipinos admire the beauty of San Agustin Church, these Augustinians need something "creative" to do to make the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass more "appealing" and "more meaningful" or "more in tune with the times". The lobby of the seminary is appropriate for them for the worship of God. Obviously, they had enough of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Church that tourists all around the world would love to visit.
The seminary lobby, for them, is more appropriate for the Holy Mass than that church we call San Agustin Church.
If you have priest and seminarians like this, how do you expect them to act in holy matters?
You see more respectful things happening in a secular event like a graduation ceremony of the change of command in the PNP and AFP.
The GULP informer who shared this to me will be sending more photos soon.
Stay tuned.

When you use the church as a social hall
So for some people, when you get the Blessed Sacrament out of the tabernacle, you do not touch the consecrated altar table, then you can use the entire church for whatever purpose you would want to use it.
Like for a masquerade ball.
You can party all you want! That is according to this group who went ballistics in full fashion mouth frothing, ALL CAPS lunacy of the guy who made that famous. *wink*
For them, it is justified to use the house of worship as a place to party.
Yes, dear TPC readers. You read that right.
A Catholic group can find the justifciation to do that to a place reserved for the worship of God, for as long as you empty the Tabernacle and you don't mess around with the altar.
That is their concept of what the house of worship is.
Churches used to have this.
Here in the Philipppines, I always see this in San Fernando de Dilao Parish Church.
A Catholic cathedral, basilica, parish church, shrine, chapel or oratory is ALWAYS reserved and MEANT to be a place of worship and NOT for any kind of partying!
A justification from your parish priest does not JUSTIFY what you did to the House of God!

SHAME!
And their tirade cited a rant of the lunatic, walking blob of a pea brain. Wow! Call that scholarly. Teeeheee!!!
So, to that group, TPC readers are asking.............
Are you open for masquerade ball reservations?
Seems these people don't have any concept of sacred space anymore, no?
Maybe we can try this.
Maybe they are willing to have their own bedrooms rented out, well, we are not "desecrating" their rooms.
We are just using it for the meantime.
If they can go ballistics over this suggestion, maybe they can use that same energy to think how wrong it was to use the church for a party!

GULP Alert: Desecrating a Catholic church
This is not a scene from a movie.
This actually happened.
It was a masquerade ball for their parish priest who will be re-assigned to another parish.
This happened in Sampaloc, Manila.
A holy place, dedicated to the worship of the One True God, turned into a social hall.
If young Catholics treat holy places such as these for such a mundane manner, why be surprised if people do not regard marriage or life in the womb as sacred?!
We do this to our youth. So stop the whining why the world is into same sex "marriage" now.
Nothing is holy anymore. Nothing is sacred anymore. Nothing deserves respect anymore....EXCEPT......
A person's "rights" also know us....WHIMS and CAPRICES.
Right, Fr. Diwa?

Freemasonry will never be compatible with Catholicism
Someone sent me these photos so I had no choice but to share this just because it is so crazy and absurd!
Stop the delusion whoever made this Freemason Holy Child.
Just picture this.
Would you see Christ wearing the garb of the organization that was made to destroy His Church on earth?
Masonry is incompatible with the Catholic Church!
Its a choice between the Lodge and the Church, plain and simple.

What is happening in the Archdiocese of Cebu?
Before when Benedict XVI was still pope, this was how it looked like in the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.
And now, since Benedict XVI isn't pope anymore, this is how it looks like.
Was the placement of the candles aka Benedictine Altar arrangement really the right thing to do or was it done BECAUSE it is the POLITICALLY right thing to do?
Not even a candle near the altar! And the last photo was taken during the Chrism Mass.
What is happening to the Archdiocese of Cebu?
Diwa caught you now?
Sad.
Faithful Catholics were pinning their hopes on you.

Enough of New Age Sisters
Sisters or Priestess?
The Dominican Sisters of Regina Rosarii are a bunch of aging 'New Agers'. Who in their right mind would do these at Mass?
Let us pray for them. This order only has 15 sisters. May the Lord spare us from more new agers.

Another Bishop does it right
Bishop Emilio Layon Bataclan, auxiliary bishop of Cebu, says Mass with a Benedictine style altar arrangement on the first day novena of Saint Rita of Cascia.
It is also the the feast of our lady of Fatima, thus the blue vestments.

What is wrong with this picture? - Papal Visit ID
Pinadala ng isang reader ng blog ang picture ng Papal Visit 2015 ID ng isang "seminarista" daw na taga Manila.
Ganito na ba ang ating mga kabataan ngayon?
Nagpapanggap?
Nagpapantasya?
Ano bang habol ninyo sa pagkukunwari ninyong seminarista or pari kayo?

Anyare?
Ears, shell, heart. Ganito na ba kababaw ang mga Salesians? Anyare? He and all Filipino priests should learn from the new Homiletic Directory published by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments.
This is approved by Pope Francis himself, kaya don't ask me where is mercy and compassion by following a document from Rome.
Isa pa! Kailan pa ginamit ang ROSE sa kasal? Anyare? Saang liturgy school natutunan ni Father yan?
Mga Father, please review THIS.
