See any similarities?

Here is the logo of the Iglesia ni Cristo or of Manalo.  They have offered NO explanation whatsoever as to the meaning of the logo.

Now look at this...

You know why?  Because their founder, Felix Manalo, was once a Freemason.
And they claim he is an angel!
Look more here...

I got this from this thread discussing the Masonic elements of the Iglesia ni Cristo.  They are suspecting that Felix Manalo may have been a 22nd degree Mason.

  1. Hi. You have presented a good argument, with lots of examples. Thanks for visiting my blog and referring me to this post. In one forum, I encountered an INC offer some explanations on the symbols. I'll post them when I find them. But of course, I find them a bit contrived, and the simpler explanation would be Manalo's freemasonry associations.

  2. Here, I found it. And I find it a bit contrived.

The shield ---- is the shield of faith
the various colors = green is love; white is holiness; red is courage
    the upsidedown triangle means the equality of the members or brotherhood (Mt. 23:8);
the crown is the crown of eternal life
the flame is the light of salvation
    the scale represents the equiality of the justice of God;
    the book is the Bible
    the two scrolls seen in the BIble represent the OT and NT;
the lamb is the Lord Jesus Christ
the bird at the top is the dove or Holy Spirit

  3. Thanks for commenting pasugo.

Even with the explanation of the elements, these must be taken as a whole in order to convey the message of the elements as one wholistic statement of purpose. The logo has to communicate something. It should not be taken one element at a time.

As INCs looovvvveee to explain things based from their own versions of the Bible, I still have to see where in their Bible they got this logo and how in the green earth will they find the explanation for this.

Well, I guess they can. Imagine, Manalo an angel?! BAH!

  4. Very interesting post......also found the post of Monk's hobbit thru this blog. I had always suspected the founders of INC of something. I would like to post on this in my Catholic Pilgrim later :)

  6. The INC founder could be a Mason but the Catholic church shouldn't be alarmed by this. The Vatican has been involved into lots of scandals and corruption.

    1. How much is LOTS for you? It so happen that this Church is always been an interest and a capital (money) for newsmakers, that makes it more appealing looool.

Try to expose any scandal or corruption in your church, not even local news would buy...

      See the difference?

    2. Who said the Catholic church is alarmed??? You are exaggerating the value of INC to the Catholic Church, brother…

    3. What??? The background of the founder has nothing to do with the religion he founded? Are you drunk?

    2. Felix Manalo copied almost everything of what he has. From liturgy even to how his pointed churches and tabernacle should be built. Even his own "Man only" doctrine wasn't originally his.

  10. I think Manz has a good sense of what would the INC do with the life, records and former fraternity of Mr. manalo and the logo (as you stated and presented).

Every organization's logo derived from a known symbols that described their visions, beliefs and virtues in one picture. That is why you were able to translate its every symbols of INC with your own references. Because their logo can communicate well.

Unfortunately, dont you find it subjective to compared it from freemasonry?

    Is freemasonry a demonic cult?

do you really welcome an explanation from the INC?

    just asking sir.

  11. It has everything to do with it. Manalo was a Mason and Masons are anti-established religion.

It respects all people who worship a Supreme Being. Any Supreme Being even Lucifer.

  12. I'm sorry sir, as i remember to my history class, masons fight for equality. And most of famous masons are Hero.

And you don't even answer my questions and Manz asking too.

To date, reading your post make me sick, do you really digging for truth or you just up for something that even your righteous mind cant able to define it. As you presented those SYMBOLS & the MEANING of it, i know, at the back of your mind it means nothing harm and demonic virtue (according to your own references and statement). Both INC & FREEMASONRY.

You are a member of KNIGHT OF COLUMBUS.

And you are protesting against FREEMASONRY and link it to INC logo because it signified almost the same.

Are you a former FREEMASON and/or INC?

If not, try to learn more from them.

As i trying to learn more from Knight of Columbus in a righteous mindset.

Thank you so much Pinoy catholic and God bless.

  13. Raude, it depends which history book you read and who is your history teacher. If you listen to Marcos loyalist for a history teacher, you'll learn that the EDSA Revolution is illegal and that Marcos is still president and that Arturo Tolentino was right to claim ascendancy of the presidency since he is the "justly elected and proclaimed Vice President."

It seems you are the one who is not doing his homework with what Freemasonry really is. There is wonderful website called YouTube. Try searching for videos about former Masons talking about their organizations.

Ok, to make it easier for you, here is the link:

    WATCH AND LEARN!

    Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubgosRfMEOY

    Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxB-YHErZQw&feature=related

    Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_wcKystd2g&feature=related

    Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRNmPFl-jp0&feature=related

You're asking me if I am a former Mason or INC?

    THANK GOD, NO!

I learned from them because I am actually...hold your breath...FRIENDS WITH THEM!

If you want to know more about the Knights of Columbus in a "a righteous mindset" as you wrote, search for the Wikipedia entry, which is a good one. And you can also visit our Supreme Council's website: www.kofc.org

Ask any INC or Mason this: How much have you contributed to charity?

Ask for actual numbers and documents as proof!

Then go to the websites I mentioned above about the Knights. I'll let those sites do the talking on this one.

  14. tulad ng ang mga sinabi mo sa mga nauna mong post, and i quote,
"Even with the explanation of the elements, these must be taken as a whole in order to convey the message of the elements as one wholistic statement of purpose. The logo has to communicate something. It should not be taken one element at a time."

  15. First of all Jeffrey, you should have posted in English as blogs are read worldwide such as this blog. Only Tagalog speaking people will understand what you wrote. And to answer your question:

Rizal and other national heroes were Masons. Apolinario Mabini who was rabidly anti-Catholic, is a Mason.

So your angel Felix is a Mason.

And lastly, ask your ministers what the logo means.

THEY DO NOT KNOW JACK SQUAT WHAT IT MEANS.

Ask your ministers why the flag of INC is such.

THEY DO NOT KNOW JACK SQUAT WHAT IT MEANS.

And they know what God revealed?

Funny! The INC Ministers do not know the simple meaning of their logo and flag but they can explain the being of Christ and our salvation.

BAKIT PO KASI DI TAYO MANGHAWAK SA MGA FACTS AT DI LAMANG SA MGA "TAMANG HULA tulad nito: ("They are suspecting that Felix Manalo may have been a 22nd degree Mason." )"...!?

    1. The fact is-- the INC logo is too similar to the freemasonry logo and it is hard to dismiss the stark similarity. Since the logo embodies the ideals of the organization, studying the logos side by side is part of comparing the two organizations' ideals side by side. That is what you call "holding on to facts."

  17. Hello pinoycatholic! I'm a Catholic, a Christian.

Thank you for your courage on doing this article of yours, pinoycatholic. I understand why you did this. Please people! Understand why pinoycatholic did this. This for all our awareness, knowledge, wisdom and the light of truths. This for discussions and for having flames or throwing muds to each other. This is to shed the light of truth of what behind in Iglesia Ni Cristo symbolic logo representations. We do all love the truths as the words of God is the truth and we all love the words of God.

How did I get here and why I'm here? I've been intrigued on the INC's symbolic logo when I seen a glimpsed of it in the news of TV Patrol regarding INC favoring the RH Bill. And of course because I like conspiracy theories and other mysteries that surrounds me. I'm a free thinker minded person and an explorer. A backyard or bedroom scientist. My library is google, wikipedia, wikileaks and other stuff in the internet. The moment I seen the INC's logo flashes on the TV screen (and kaboom!) that logo is familiar to me. Those are masonic symbols at the logo of INC. And it is the first time I seen it.

Here are my little share of my knowledge and information regarding Freemasons with a little bit of the Illuminatti. Of course these are conspiracy stuffs found on the internet. They have a lot of secrets thats why they are called as the Secret Societies. Lowered level members don't know or no ideas of such secrecies. As a member level-up these secrecies are given by knowledge and wisdom. But these Freemasons secrecies are already scattered around the internet. Many have already known these secrecies even non-members of the society such as Freemasons. ( AND THAT IS A VERY SERIOUS TREATH TO ALL OF US. 2012 is just around the corner!?!) But, we really don't what will happened next. The real questions and answers are all depend to each one of us.

The Freemasons, according to my knowledge was established very ancient or earlier than the society of Illuminatti. Freemasons roots are with Nimrod in the Old Testament Book of Genesis. Nimrod is a grandson of Noah. His a rebel. He the protagonist at the Tower of Babel. Thats where the Freemasons came from. They are the builders of the Tower of Babel or they are the masonries. Ever since then, they become builders of societies or cultures. Military, politicians, scholars, architectures, engineers, doctors and so on and so forth.

All are goods and all are well until the early middle age of A.D. or before America was been discovered (I'm not sure), the Freemasons was been corrupted by the Illuminatti. I think on one occasion on their meeting or ceremonies, Satan or Lucifer came to them and to established a New World Order or domination. An order with a world with no religions, families, no properties and so on. They establish banks, financial institutions, universities, governments, etc. Also established fake and corrupted religions and other group of societies. Embedded within a established religion, group, culture and societies until to make it corrupted. Illuminatti and Freemasons combinations works are all now embedded within different religious organizations like in Catholics, other Christians dominations Islam, Hindus, Buddhist, Jews and so on. They also make or established their own group out of these religious organizations.

Sorry to say these. . . . such groups in the Catholics are rigged and embedded or established or rooted by Freemasons and Illuminatti like the Knights of Malta and even your Knights of Columbus. And some say these are branches or dominations of the Freemasons. But of course these may been another tactics of the Illuminatti and Freemasons to corrupt such for hardliner groups in the Catholic.

The Philippines and Pinoys are the most favorite puppets and playground of Freemasons and Illuminatti.

    1. hi Jum i liked your write up, good topic huh? Thanks for the information but i have a few things different in my understanding. 1. Freemasons were stone builders they were infiltrated at some point in history and their network was used to spread the new Freemason masonic evil and their first real damage was done during the French Revolution and the following vendee Wars on Catholic people in France, and after that they are easy to follow. Freemasons are not builders of society they corrupt of christian society and infiltrate groups. The Freemasons were not corrupted by the Illuminati but corrupted by another world power religion that i will not name now. The Freemasons are the foot soldiers of a particular religion that persecutes the Catholic Church since day one. The Freemasons have been trying to destroy, infiltrate, attack the church for more than a thousand years. Yes Freemasons have infiltrated and started Christian religions and movements and Catholic orders and even the vatican, other religions except one has not been infiltrated; because the Freemasons are controlled by one Religion . You can not say the knights of Malta or templar Knights are corrupted because there are so many langes or divisions that u can not speak in general terms, Knights of Columbus have been infiltrated and do not defend the Faith like a knights should.

      Delete
  18. You are right Jum Ong to note that the Knights of Columbus bears some similarity with the Freemasons. In fact, the structure of the Knights is copied from the Freemasons BUT we eliminated anything that is against the Faith.

That is one of the reasons why our founder, Fr. McGivney founded the Knights, to bring back Catholic men who joined Freemasonry and be in a fraternity and enjoy secret rituals and ceremonials in a Catholic setting.

    1. Pope Benedict XV1 is an Illuminati, so are his predecessors, Illuminati and Freemasonry is hand in glove. As far as I know 33degree freemasons and higher are the ones involve in worshipping Lucifer.

As a proof, the Pope mentioned the NWO during his speech on Dec. 25 last year. I definitely know that the Popes are 'enlightened' about this satanic scheme. However, upon divesting yourself from Freemasonry then you out of Lucifer's world, many have done that.

    2. Yeah, humaneraser has a sense of logic here.

Pope Benedict, according to him is a devil worshipper, that is why he intensifies the training of more exorcists to combat the spread of demons in the planet, he emphasizes the role of spirituality and religion in civil society, he reminds Europe of its Christian roots, and he fights secularism in all fronts.

      Yeah, makes sense. Very logical.

  20. Do you know that Pope Pius IX is a Freemason.

    ReplyDelete
  21. But, strange to say, there is no doubt that Pope Pius IX. was himself a Freemason. His signature still exists in the books of one of the Italian Lodges of Monte Video. Shortly after his ordination Mastai Ferretti (which was his secular name) was sent as Auditor to the Vicar-General of Chile, and at one time it was believed that he was initiated into Freemasonry in that country. When, in later years, he was appointed Apostolic Delegate in Uruguay he appeared in the Lodges as a fully qualified Freemason, and a writer in the Libertad del Pensamiento, a Madrid journal, in 1870, said that there was in existence in the possession of one whose name he gave (Soussingeas) a portrait of the Pope in Masonic regalia.

  26. To be honest, Rizal denounced masonry before his death. And why? He confessed. The Jesuit to whom he confessed obviously knows that. If Rizal did not denounce masonry, the priest will not give him absolution. Even General Aguinaldo denounced masonry before his death through the help of Cardinal Santos.

Now in 2011, everyone is talking about the Illuminati, the New World Order, the Fed and the other banking elites own by the Jews and the connection of the Order of Jesuits to the Illuminati. You as an apologist, I know that you have the knowledge on how the your religion is connected to Freemasonry and the Illuminati as well.

As a former INC, I can say "yes it is possible. But how about your religion?" From the corruption that happened during the scandal in the Vatican Bank which had involved billions of dollars, to sexual scandals by priests across the globe, and when it comes to the Philippines, it is the biggest landlord in the country and its assets can't be equaled by any single private company in the country.

As for the INC architecture, why you Agnetta would say that it looks and feels creepy? Don't you know that there are more churches in Europe which are scarier? INC makes the most elegant churches not only in the Philippines even in the US(example Montclair chapel in CA) And yes most their money which they have contributed goes to construction of churches and every member knows that because it is in their doctrine.

What about the Catholic Church? Where has all your money gone? You have more universities and hospitals than the INC which makes you richer but you can't make elegant churches like the INC's (maybe just a few like the San Sebastian Church). Not everyone in the INC are wealthy and compare to the population of the Catholics, it is not even a quarter.

    2. The tuition paid in Catholic Universities clearly go the salary of instructors, maintenance of facilities, etc... And Catholic Universities are known for it's high educational standards. Only a small portion of that goes to the Church funds used in missions to Africa, Latin America, etc.

Second, it is only according to YOU that there are few beautiful churches. Why? Have you been to all the places in the world? The San Sebastian Church is an old church. Many new chapels or parishes adopted simpler, more efficient in design. Another, we cannot build extravagant churches in the middle of the slums, the Church would rather feed the hungry and the destitute and build a simple church than build an extravagant church but the people who enter it are starving and dying.

And Please... Landlords? Perhaps these lands you speak of are lands inherited by priests who come from rich families. It is up to them whether they keep it or donate it to the church or deny the inheritance. The Church strongly recommends the clergy to refrain from owning vast lands and wealth.

Scandals, we cannot deny that. But, take note that these are the priests who have been weak in the faith. And these priests have undergone due process and investigation. They have been received accordingly the penalty or punishment deserved.

True, the Church has over a billion members, but take note again, most members of the church are in the middle to lower class and below the poverty line, economically. Try going to the mission areas of the Missionaries of the Poor (MOP), Missionaries of Charity (MC), Daughters of Charity (DC), Claretian Missionaries (CMF), Redemptorist Missionaries (CSsR) and to the Mission Area of Aid to the Church in Need... see how our missionaries live with the poor in the most subhuman conditions, how they cross rivers, valleys and climb mountains just to reach those in need and those thirsty for God's word.

Just to answer what you said "why is the Iglesia still led by a Manalo? Obvious! IT'S A FAMILY CORPORATION!"

If we are going to accept your way of reasoning that INC is a family corporation because it is still led by the Manalo then the ancient nation of Israel is also a family corporation. Why did I say that? Who are the leaders of the ancient Israel?

Our father Abraham.. Our father Isaac... Who's next in line? Our father Jacob. didn't you know that that is God's policy? So then your line of argumentation is WRONG! There's nothing wrong if INC is still being led by Manalo.

  35. To JHUN,

Thank you for commenting, but frankly I had my generous share of experiences with INC members and what Christ told the Pharisees and scribes as a bunch of whitewashed tombs fits those I have had the chance to be with, PERFECTLY.

They support only their own kind, like what Christ said about pagans. If they ever get related in any other way to non-INC members, they would stop at nothing to proselytize them.

So, no JHUN. They are not the standard for morality. They do not even help people of other faiths in their housing projects in Montalban. I know this for a fact, because I was part of the government agency who facilitated the project during the time of Pres. Joseph Estrada.

So, no, JHUN. INC members are a bunch of hypocrites. And I have no qualms telling it to their faces.

The INC Doctrine is nothing but a rip off of the Mormon Church.

And FELIX MANALO YSAGUN is a con-artist and rapist who is burning in hell!

"From the corruption that happened during the scandal in the Vatican Bank which had involved billions of dollars, to sexual scandals by priests across the globe, and when it comes to the Philippines, it is the biggest landlord in the country and its assets can't be equaled by any single private company in the country."

So before such statements as above are written, an audit needs to be done!

BTW, John Paul II ordered and audit of the Vatican Bank!

  41. Whether INC is a masonic sect dressed as an Arian christianity or an Arian "Church" (doubtful about this)imbued with masonic ideals is pointless. Why? They appeal to a sacred text canonized by a church who they accused of apostasy! They're a bunch of purist who appeal to an apostatized scripture. Their leader Felix Manalo built an effective business of theocracy. We Catholics have out Pope at least through a vote, they however have their leader through succession? A serious case of nepotism. No wonder they never had a originality in them. A masonic logo and brotherhood, a Catholic Sacred Text, an Arian Christology and Gothic (can also also be considered as Catholic) architecture. What else they could have?

  42. INC is a modern day arianism. INC is a business. Ever heard of the town that they bought in US and their plan of having the largest auditorium in the world? Their religion is founded by a liberated selfish man who made his doctrine for 3 days making his own bible to agree with his teachings. Fooled the innocent catholics by attacking the Doctrines of the Church while injecting their teachings based on the bible which they created.

INC that attacks catholic church are not aware of thee real teachings of the Holy Catholic Church. They have been brainwashed by their ministers who were also blinded by this false doctrines.

    1. I laugh at your absurdity.

If the INC indeed created their own Bibles, wouldn't you think (that with the numerous debates that have transpired over the decades) that at least somebody will realize that we are using a manuscript that we created?

You're obviously delirious. You should see a doctor.

The Bible we use is the same Bible that your church uses. Or any other church for that matter. Indeed, there are numerous versions of the Bible. But during debates, the classes of Bibles are given to both parties. Your Catholic bishops and priests would be stupid (forgive the term) to use a Bible version they do not recognize, because they practically live to study it.

Look no further than the Masonic charitable handicap hospitals for the children operated by Masonic Shriners and which by the way have a billion dollar budget per year; and are you accusing the great Masons of the past as devil (lucifer) worshipers? (I'm a Mason and I purposely didn't capitalized lucifer's name as I don't consider him as a supreme being), such as Jose Rizal, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Emilio Aguinaldo just to name a few, you are over analizing the symbols that are provided...Mansonry is nothing but a Fraternity of Men that believes in God...You are not a Mason and therefore you will never understand our beliefs, in fact Masonry is just the opposite of what you are saying, one of the pre requisites of being a Mason is to believe in God but Masonry is not a religion but certainly is religious, we are God fearing men, Manalo may or may not have derived the INC symbols Fremansonry but that doesn't mean anything about the Masonic fraternity. 1. Felix Manalo founder of the Iglesia Ni Cristo lied when he declared himself an angel and the last messenger of God. Here are the reasons why:
      • baptized a Catholic - learned the fundamentals of the Roman Catholic faith.
      • became a follower of the ''Colorum'' spiriting sect in the Philippines
      • joined the Methodist Episcopalian Church, attended their Seminary and became a pastor.
      • began studying at the Presbyterian Bible School
      • came upon the Christian Mission group (Church of Christ), studied at the Manila College of the Bible for four years. received the idea of restoring the New Testament Church.
      • became a local evangelist in "Society for the propagation of the Gospel.
      • left the Christian Mission group converting to Seventh Day Adventism where he began to think of starting his own church.
      • Left Seventh Day Adventists, claimed to experience a call like the ancient prophets.
      • Closed himself in with his Bible for three days and began his mission to start a new church.
      • His study of religions and the Bible led him to conclusion that none of the existing churches then remained faithful with the biblical truth – that none of them is the true religion.
      • Like many others before him he has fallen into the trap since none are perfect by his own judgment he is to restore the true church.
      • In 1913 started his own group incorporated in 1914.
      • Brother Felix wandered into different religions always examining, in the light of scriptural truth, their various doctrines and religious practices"
      • in 1919 Manalo left the Philippines to learn more about religion to America, to study with Protestants, whom Iglesia later declare to be apostates. It is for this reason they do not disclose this information.
      • In California enrolled in the Pacific School of Religion.
      • Five years after being called by God to be his "last messenger???" he goes to the U.S. to learn from apostates? This does not make sense.
      • What could God's messenger learn from a group that, according to Iglesia, had departed from the true faith?
      • Manalo did not believe himself to be God's final messenger back in 1914. He didn't use the last messenger doctrine until 1922.
      • Another factor of his adopting the messenger doctrine is in response to a schism in the Iglesia movement. Manalo appears to have developed the messenger doctrine in an effort to maintain and re-assert his leadership in the church thereby keeping control.
      • In the early days Manalo did not attack the deity of Christ.
      • After 1930 began to deny his pre-existence, his being the beginning in purpose with God.
      • Erano Manalo wrote a 64 page booklet attacking the Deity of Christ called Christ-God.
      • began systematic campaign of attacking the Church and her doctrines he held from the apostles.
      • they attack by writing in their publications and public pronouncements, but when someone challenges their beliefs they are labeled as attackers of God's (new) Church and considered unworthy to be noticed.

  59. Morning!!!

This is so trivial guys. :) But I must say, it is interesting to know how a person

declares an unverified conclusion. Tsk... tsk... Legally it is risky.

About the logo, Quebec has a fleur-de-lys in a their flag, but it does not mean that the

province was founded by a boyscout, right? INC ministers understand the meaning of our

logo by heart. Please ask them first. :)

About INC having its own bible version. sEth is correct INC doesn't have one. May we know

where where you got that info? Kasi maling info po iyon. :)

FYI, we even use the 'Magandang Balita Biblia' version which is actually sponsored by the

Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines. We just don't use the Deuterocanonical

    books.

For all your other concerns and question, guys please visit an INC locale nearest you.

    Don't worry we don't bite. :)

BTW, I just recently joined INC. Like TPC. I was a devout catholic before until I learned

that the picture of Jesus I had in my wallet was actually "Pietro Bandinelli", the same

model Da Vinci used for Judas - a prisoner

    (http://www.catholicjournal.us/2012/09/11/dont-you-remember-me/). Right now, I don't

really like to know if it a true or not because just the same, it still would have been

    another man.

As a former Augustinian catholic, I was taught that man is not capable of comprehending

the mystery of the holy trinity. That's why I really thank INC because they demystified

the anonimity of the so-called "trinity". It's not after all incomprehensible.

And I discovered more... And I am so happy.

    Have a nice day!!!

    1. I'm glad you are happy, jules…

As for the Quebec flag's fleur de lys, indeed it does not mean that it was founded by a boy scout. One similarity may not mean much--- but that is not the case between the freemasonry and INC logos.

Too bad Jesus' face that you had in your wallet could have been used as Judas'… That does not mean the real Jesus is not a real God, though. Whose-face-is-it is another triviality. Pretty interesting, but hardly faith-shattering if you really know your faith.

Too bad your Augustinian teachers/friends were not able to make you understand the concept of the trinity. As for me, I enjoy basking in its mystery--it is such a joy to know that my faculties as a human being are limited, and that there is a presence, God, who is infinitely greater than I and who loves me with a love I will never be able to fully understand.

      God bless you!

  62. What is the significance of being a 22nd degree Mason? I know few things about Masonry. What if Felix Manalo were a member of the Masons? Would this reflect negatively on him? Isn't the dove a common symbol even in Catholic Churches because the dove represents the Holy Spirit. The compass and the weighing scales are also common symbols of justice. The lamb is also a common symbol of Christ. The Catholic Church even has a song about that, Cordero ng Dios.

  63. My take on this: Symbols and personality issues are just superficial. But yes, I do accept that these things reflect on their origin and beliefs.... However, the bigger concern here is that the Iglesia ni Cristo has their whole set of tenets and beliefs contradicting and destructively lambasting the very Bible they say they believe in, the very foundation of the claims of their sect.
