Answer: Although organized by the Roman Catholic Church, the IEC is open to all Christians and people of goodwill. In the light of ecumenism espoused by Vatican II, the challenge for us is to deepen fraternal bonds and mutual faith in Jesus Christ, despite theological and doctrinal differences among religions.

So let's answer this one by one, ok?

There is a pontifical committee specially created for the International Eucharistic Congress, and its purpose and mission gives us a look at what a Eucharistic Congress is all about.

The purpose of this Committee consists “to make ever better known, loved and served, Our Lord Jesus Christ in his Eucharistic Mystery, as centre of the life of the Church and of its mission for the salvation of the world” through the celebration of International Eucharistic Congresses (Cf. Statutes, Art. 2 and 3 a).

So Eucharistic Congresses are meant to make the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament better known, loved and served.

How will it deepen fraternal bonds with religion who firstly, don't believe in the Bible, secondly, don't believe that Jesus Christ is God-Man, and thirdly, don't give a rat's @$$ about this Congress and it's purpose?!

Can someone from the organizing committee of the IEC in Cebu answer this?!

This political correctness is eating up even the Church to the point we can barely see anymore if this is indeed the Church that our Lord gave us.

This false Spirit of Vatican II, this false reading of ecumenism is all to blame.  Ecumenism as espoused by Vatican II is aimed "that they may be one", to bring all to the one fold with Christ the Good Shepherd.  The ecumenism espoused by LST and MST is "all religions are equal" is what FREEMASONRY wants is all to believe in!

So where are the DEFENDERS of the Faith huh? Especially that loud proud obnoxious one?  Can they not debunk this heresy of the guy behind the IEC 2016 FB Page?

Gregorian Chant? What is that?!

There was once a Synod of Bishops that recommended to the pope something about Gregorian chant...

The pope came out with an Apostolic Exhortation and in it he said:

"Finally, while respecting various styles and different and highly praiseworthy traditions, I desire, in accordance with the request advanced by the Synod Fathers, that Gregorian chant be suitably esteemed and employed as the chant proper to the Roman liturgy."

Issued in 2007....back to the present....have you heard Gregorian Chant in your church, chapel or oratory lately?

The Synod of Bishops this coming October is already being seen as a "dissent fest" of epic proportions.

Only thing I could think of is to do what most modernist bishop and priest did in 2007.

IGNORE.

And for faithful Catholics who are now scandalized by the open and brazen declaration of heresy of cardinals, bishops, priests and nuns, I stay...

IGNORE THEM!

Catholic cleric "giddy" for same sex "marriage"?

Is the debate on same-sex "marriage" encouraging a lot of clerics these days to finally come out of the closet?

Hmmm....

Let's take a look at this piece of the Union of Catholic Asian News Editor Fr. William Grimm about the legalization of same sex "marriage" in "Catholic" Ireland.

Voters in Ireland have made that country the first to recognize same-sex marriage by a national referendum. Various other countries have granted the same recognition through legislation. [This priest will now tell you that the numbers matter for dogma and morals.]

A New York Times column by Frank Bruni titled "On same-sex marriage, Catholics are leading the way" pointed out, "In fact, countries with a Catholic majority or plurality make up half of those where two men or two women can now wed or will soon be able to."

In other countries like the United States where Catholics are a large part of the population, polls show that Catholics as a group are more open to same-sex marriage than their non-Catholic neighbors.

And yet, in all these countries, the Catholic hierarchy has strongly opposed moves to recognize such partnerships, while the laity have declined to follow their bishops.

Are we seeing the collapse of the Catholic Church? [Is this priest wishing it to happen?  Weird for someone to even think this will happen.  Ha!  Not even Hitler was able to accomplish it and he think sodomites and adulterers can accomplish it.]

If the bishops are the Church, [no they are not.  The bishops don't even say so.  But they are our shepherds and teachers. Get that!] then perhaps we are. But, if the Church is, in fact, the People of God, then we may be seeing the Church affirming something its leaders need to re-examine. [So if the majority decides to legalize murder....you know where this is heading.]

It would not be the first time. Blessed Cardinal John Henry Newman pointed out that historically, when many bishops of the fourth century were in heresy over Arianism, it was the laity that kept the faith. The moral of that story for him was that it is essential to recognize that the laity are, along with Scripture, liturgy, the hierarchy and theologians, a valid authority in the Church. [Now this man here is either knows the real score about the comments of the Blessed cardinal or he is really oblivious about what the cardinal really meant. See my discussion below.]

Rather than the collapse of the Catholic Church, might we be living through a period when the hierarchy must defer to the experience, insight and faith of the mass of Catholics? After all, they, more than celibate clerics, have a clear idea of what might or might not threaten marriage. [Same reasoning we all heard about married life from the Episcopalians and Anglicans! Celibates can talk about the family and married life since they are not married.  If that were true, were did the priests come from?  Did they spring out of the ground?  Did a stork deliver them to the doors of the seminary?  They are humans right?  And they were born to a human family.  Is experience needed in order for a person to speak authoritatively about it?  Does a doctor specializing in cancer (an oncologist) need to be sick with cancer before he can practice his profession?  Does a priest need to have a wife before he can talk about keeping the a married couple's marriage holy?]

The Catholic bishops of Japan may be attuned to this. [Look at the number of Catholics in Japan! No, rather, look at the number of people believing in a deity in Japan!]

The mayor of Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward has announced that around the end of October the ward will begin issuing certificates recognizing same-sex partnerships. This follows the ward assembly’s passage last March of an ordinance that recognizes such partnerships as "equivalent to marriage". Other jurisdictions throughout Japan are expected to enact similar ordinances.

The Japanese bishops’ report for the next session of the Synod for the Family in October refers to the Shibuya ordinance and says, "Even though the Church cannot recognize same-sex marriages, there is no way that we can assume that a sexual orientation not chosen by someone is cause for their rejection by God."  [So the bishops of Japan are for same sex "marriage"?  So whatever happened to Fr. Grimm's hierarchy-laity dichotomy?  What would happen if the laity came out with a manifesto not supporting the sodomite union?]

In Ireland and elsewhere Catholics speak much as the Japanese do. They favor legalizing same-sex unions precisely because of what they have learned from the Church about the dignity of all people and caring for the marginalized. The starting point is the love of God that does not punish people for being who they are. [Man.  The Church has already taught us in the Catechism about this.  Here in the Philippines, the CBCP just came out with  another directive.  Nothing new.  It's just teaching what has been since the beginning.]

At the first session of the Synod last October, Ron and Mavis Pirola, a Catholic couple from Australia, addressed the meeting:

"Friends of ours were planning their Christmas family gathering when their gay son said he wanted to bring his partner home too. They fully believed in the Church’s teachings and they knew their grandchildren would see them welcome the son and his partner into the family. Their response could be summed up in three [sic] words, ‘He is our son.’” [Are we questioning the DNA of the son, or is the Church questioning the morality of the relationship?]

"What a model of evangelization for parishes as they respond to similar situations in their neighborhood! It is a practical example of what the Instrumentum laboris [working paper for the Synod] says concerning the Church’s teaching role and its main mission to let the world know of God’s love." [God's love does not mean we tolerate evil. Sodomy is evil. In fact, a city got burned because of that. God's love does not spoil.  That is why God is called Father because He is a parent like me. Unlike Fr. Grimm who is celibate......Ha!]

The laity are challenging the leaders of the Church to find ways to affirm the sacramentality of matrimony [affirm? Follow Jesus!] while recognizing that marriage is a broader and more varied reality with legal, social, cultural and anthropological aspects that may differ from the practice of the Church. [Modernism alert folks!  This is how modernist heretics work. They want you to accept that dogma and doctrine and morals need to keep up with the times. Truth needs to be updated and made relevant.  Heresy is written all over it.  How? Let's use his logic.  If we go to a society where being married to an animal, or a sibling, or an inanimate object has become the "varied reality with legal, social, cultural and anthropological aspects that may differ from the practice of the Church", this priest, this so called Roman Catholic priest, this so called Priest of Jesus Christ, wants you to accept that we need to change what JESUS CHRIST himself has taught that marriage is between a man and a woman and that what God has joined together, no man can separate.  This priest is teaching another Gospel.]

Sacramentality is not threatened by same-sex marriages. The sacrament of matrimony remains something for the Church to administer according to its understanding of that type of marriage called sacramental. [Ughm....marriage is a sacrament and not a sacramental.  Does this priest really know his religion?]

And after all, homosexuals are only about five percent of the population. It is ridiculous to claim, as the Vatican secretary of state Cardinal Pietro Parolin did, that because some of that five percent can have legally recognized relationships it is "a defeat for humanity".  [Yeah.  Five percent is exerting pressure to the rest of the 95% of the world.  How could it not be a defeat for humanity?]

The Japanese bishops are calmer, kinder and more correct in saying, "At the least, the Church should convey the message that households that have been set up by men and women with a homosexual orientation are also blessed by God."  [How?  Sodomy is blessed?  Ugh!]

Now let me quote Blessed John Henry Newman about the role of the laity during the Arian heresy:

 "Here, of course, I must explain: -- in saying this, then, undoubtedly I am not denying that the great body of the Bishops were in their internal belief orthodox; nor that there were numbers of clergy who stood by the laity, and acted as their centres and guides; nor that the laity actually received their faith, in the first instance, from the Bishops and clergy; nor that some portions of the laity were ignorant, and other portions at length corrupted by the Arian teachers, who got possession of the sees and ordained an heretical clergy; -- but I mean still, that in that time of immense confusion the divine dogma of our Lord's divinity was proclaimed, enforced, maintained, and (humanly speaking) preserved, far more by the 'Ecclesia docta' than by the 'Ecclesia docens;' that the body of the episcopate was unfaithful to its commission, while the body of the laity was faithful to its baptism; that at one time the Pope, at other times the patriarchal, metropolitan, and other great sees, at other times general councils, said what they should not have said, or did what obscured and compromised revealed truth; while, on the other hand, it was the Christian people who, under Providence, were the ecclesiastical strength of Athanasius, Hilary, Eusebius of Vercellae, and other great solitary confessors, who would have failed without them.  I see, then, in the Arian history a palmary example of a state of the Church, during which, in order to know the tradition of the Apostles, we must have recourse to the faithful...." [my emphasis]

From this quotation we can clearly see that Blessed Newman did not refer to the laity as "authority" like how this priest was implying.  Rather, it was through the support of the laity to the guardians of orthodoxy led by St. Athanasius that the Arian heresy saw its doom.

We are of the same situation right now.

It is the few brave cardinals, bishops, priests and religious who need the support of the laity to stand up against a few hijackers of the Synod of the Family.

It is not even an ecumenical council!  It is a synod, a consultation.  And they want to redefine what the Church has taught ever since it was founded by her Divine Founder.

This is what Fr. Grimm says "varied reality with legal, social, cultural and anthropological aspects that may differ from the practice of the Church".  This is what modernist heretics say as the updating of dogma and "keeping up with the times."

The sad news today is that we see the wolves inside the pen with the sheep.  They are not anymore in sheepskin. They have shed the pretenses and proudly proclaimed that they call themselves Catholic but profess a faith different from those that came from the Apostles.

The best way to combat these wolves are:

1.  Prayer - for their conversion or if they are obstinate, for God's mercy and justice to befell on them.
2.  Boycott - do not support their endeavors. Don't visit their websites, don't donate to their causes.
3.  Expose - share to the whole world who these men and women are so we others will stay away from them.


PS:  Makes you realize that we really have a lot of active homosexuals in the clergy no?  Right Fr. Grimm?

State of the Catholic Church in the Philippines

In what could be something providential, this screenshot came into my mailbox just a few minutes after I posted this about the defenders of the Sampaloc Catholic church masquerade ball.

Which leads us to this point ladies and gentlemen...

A secular website hits it right on head when it identified the causes of our dying spirituality.

We pride ourselves to be the home country of one of the most "renowned" liturgist of the Catholic Church yet our Masses have become sources of entertainment, treated as if it were a game show or a theater play.

Our priests get ordained, receiving the special indelible mark on their soul to offer the Holy Sacrifice for the expiation of our sins, to forgive and absolve the sins of the penitent, to baptize and save the soul of an infant, to cast out demons in the name of Christ....but you see the most visible, the noisiest of them all, posing as if they were selling the latest fashion trend....or they think they defend the Church using gutter language, spewing curses left and right and claiming that they cannot be criticized for such a behavior because they are "alter Christus" (you'd find more sewage in his mouth than in the Pasig River, guaranteed!)....or someone who spends more than 45 minutes on his "homily" but is nothing but a hodge podge of made up stories (of fictitious people they met and talked to) or of jokes and songs you almost forgot you are in a Holy Mass and not in another episode of Vice Ganda's videoke stand-up comedy routine...or a priest who flaunts being in an exclusive club while the other part of the country is suffering from the wrath of a super typhoon...

We even have priests who openly support the homosexual agenda! (Watch out for a blog post about another priest who supports the gay agenda.  Tuwang-tuwa ang lola niyo sa SCOTUS decision on same sex "marriage".)

Narcissist priests!  That's what's killing the Church from within.

And add to that spineless bishops who can't even muster the strength to confront a university within his diocese who openly supported the RH Law which is in complete disobedience to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

But when you see this bishop, he chuckles like a Sesame Street character you'd think "Hmm!  Everything seems alright..."

For him it is alright, even if that university continues to lead Catholics away from the Faith from a society of priests and brothers founded to combat heresy.  Hey!  If you can't beat them join them no?

Retired Lingayen Dagupan Archbishop is right.  He said that if all the Catholics in the Philippines would come to Mass on Sundays, all the Mass schedules and all the churches wouldn't be able to accommodate all the faithful coming to worship.

We pride ourselves to be the only Catholic nation in Asia yet we cannot even bring our people into our churches every Sunday.

We pride ourselves to be the only Catholic nation in Asia yet we have allowed the passage of the Reproductive Health Law.

We pride ourselves to be the only Catholic nation in Asia yet we are riddled with corruption in and out of government.

Does it need a regular visit from the Pope to enliven our faith?

Even if the Pope would stay in the Philippines, do we even know if the Katipunan University will stop its relativistic, ok I'll say it, HERETIC teachings?

What does the Catholic Church in the Philippines need?

We need holy priests and it starts at the seminaries.

We need seminarians who are not educated under heretical schools like Maryhill, St. Vincent and all those schools identified by The Pinoy Catholic since 2009.

We need seminarians who want to be ordained not because of the status symbol or fringe benefits of the state of life, but because they want to save souls for Christ.  This means, to BAN these posers, these altar servers FOR LIFE who go around parish after parish, Mass after every Mass, school after school, who carry either a black cassock and surplice, or an alb, and claim to be Master of Ceremonies or instituted acolytes, selling holy cards or relics!  They are a danger to the Faith and they are out there to take advantage of people!

We, the people of God, must do this for ourselves.

We must remain vigilant and active at the same time.

Stop going to Masses of these narcissistic priests!  Stop supporting their causes and instead support priests who are loyal to the Church and to Tradition.

Stop liking or sharing whatever they share in social media.  You are fueling their narcissism.

Stop sending your children to these heretical universities who support Reproductive Health and the LGBT Agenda.  These talk about Tolerance and Acceptance only applies to them and not to those who disagree with them.  They do not tolerate faithful Catholics.  They do not accept Catholics who openly criticize their anti-Catholic agenda.  They silence people who do not agree with them, but are very warm and supportive of anyone who is against the Catholic Church.  Yes, that means you too Miriam College.

I can sum up using the words of the Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen

We deserve the bishops, priests and religious that we have. Why? Because we tolerate the bad ones and do not support the good ones.

If we have so much good bishops and priests out there, why is this happening to the Philippines?

Heretics influencing the Synod on the Family?

Hope you are all doing well in this New Year, as we remember also our bishops who passed away in the last five years.

It is Christ the Light of the Nations we celebrated yesterday, that will bring a new Spring to the Universal Church, and our Church, the ECCC has gained momentum and respect by many Roman Catholic movements as they see in us a valued partner to continue for Church reforms.

As Consultor on the Catholic Reform Movement, including members as Hans Kung, etc. of the board, I will be in Rome prior to the worldwide Synod, and we look forward meeting Pope Francis in order to foster the Dialog for Reforms.

What is disheartening is that Rodig bought in 2007 from the Archdiocese of Detroit the closed St. Anthony Catholic Church and converted it into his own cathedral.  Imagine if the traditionalists would attempt buying this Church!

His group, part of the bigger group called "Catholic Church Reform International" met in Rome in October before the start of the Synod.  They had and among them, as reported by the National Schismatic Reporter aka Fishwrap:

Among other speakers at the event Thursday were Vatican analyst and NCR columnist Robert Mickens and Benedictine Sr. Mary John Mananzan, an academic philosopher and Philippines native who serves as the national chairperson for GABRIELA, a network of women's organizations in the country.

Among the reform groups represented at the event: American Catholic Council, Association of Catholic in Ireland, Association of U.S. Catholic Priests, and We Are Church Ireland.

Among those in the program is Hans Kung (need we say more) and former priest Roy Bourgeois.

Catholic archbishop declares: Jesus was a layman!

A supposedly Roman Catholic archbishop actually said that and his statement was even published in the website of the archdiocese. 

Yes, you read that right.


Salzburg archbishop Franz Lackner, (pictured right) said the future of the Church will include fewer priests, but that "the laity can take on important and responsible positions in the Church." These tasks should not belittle you, Lackner said. "We have forgotten that Jesus was a layman."

He actully that Jesus was always mentioned as the Eternal High Priest in Hebrews 6:20.

So, if Jesus was a layman, he couldn't have ordained the Apostles who ordained other bishops, who then ordained other men, and then the bishop who ordained Lackner priest and the bishops who consecrated him bishop are all.....*gasp*.....laymen!

So that means, Lackner is a LAYMAN!

Even Martin Luther would get mad at this guy.

The German Bishops’ Conference declared that the Instruction contains “no fundamental innovations”; [uhm, it does.] furthermore, interest in the old Mass in Germany is slim. [sure about it?  If then, why not have one EF Mass at every parish and have every priest and seminarian get a training.] The secretary of the German Bishops’ Conference, Hans Langendörfer, emphasized that the document would have no great effect upon church practice. At the present time, the old Mass is celebrated in only 128 places in Germany out of 11,383 parishes.  [yeah, right.  Then why be troubled?]

Professor Helmut Hoping of the University of Freiburg praised the new document. Much is clarified that was previously unclear. He expects that the old form of the Mass will now be celebrated more frequently in those 150 places where it has been celebrated up until now.  [Precisely!  Priests are afraid to openly celebrate the EF Mass because their bishops are silently dissenting against the pope and have their sights against the traddies.]

Benedikt Kranemann, chairman of the Association of Catholic Liturgists, (Arbeitsgemeinschaft katholischer Liturgiewissenschaftler), lamented that the criticism from bishops’ conferences and theologians of the introduction of two parallel forms of the liturgy was “not taken into account at all.” [Yes it was.  You were just not reading it or you do not care at all.]  The document misses the real problems of the church in Germany. “What is really important to the majority of people doesn’t even appear in this discussion.”  [Uhm.  Wrong topic!  On second thought, it really does!  Returning the sense of the sacred?  Ring a bell?]

The traditionalist Society of St. Pius the X greeted the paper: Benedict has placed “necessary reins on the arbitrary suppression” of the rules by many bishops. [Which I agree.  Remember what the Archdiocese of Manila did for blatantly regulating the implementation of Summorum Pontificum?]

Bishop Friedrich Weber, delegate for Catholic affairs of the Lutheran Church in Germany, expressed criticism. From the evangelical Lutheran viewpoint, [as if it matters!  Remember that these heretics despise the EF Mass because this very Mass expresses what they do not believe in!]  comprehensibility is an essential criterion. When the liturgy is incomprehensible, it become nothing but an external performance and no longer fulfills the urgent requirement of engaged participation.  [Speaking like the honorary Lutheran I know.  Ha!  And the "comprehensible", like what we suffered for the last 40 years was not an "external performance and fulfills the urgent requirement of engaged participation"!  No wonder a lot of great saints were nourished by THAT incomprehensible liturgy and it did not engage them.  Really?  Puh-leaazzze!]

Self-proclaimed "Son of God" failed on his prophecy.

DAGUPAN CITY — Now that Aquino is president-apparent based on election results, did someone who calls himself the “Son of God” receive the wrong revelation from his “Father” and thus anointed the wrong “presidentiable”? [Pastor Apollo Quiboloy calls himself the Appointed Son of God.  I remember seeing the program when he gave a date wherein the "Father" will tell one of his members in his/her dream who he(Quiboloy) is and what his mission on earth really is.  Then one of his members called in on the "appointed date" to tell everyone on TV, national and streaming video, that he received a message from the "Father" in his dream.  And that dream said that Quiboloy is the...you get the picture.]

These are among the questions posed by Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop emeritus Oscar Cruz in his online blog yesterday as he clarified that his comments were not meant to disparage someone who calls himself the “Son of God” or to criticize his millions of followers. [Really?  The archbishop is trying to be politically correct when in fact he is questioning the credibility of the one who calls himself the "son of god".  No that is not a typo.  I'll call Quiboloy that way because he is a blasphemer and an anti-Christ!]

Without outright naming Quiboloy, Cruz said he merely wanted to bring to the fore certain perplexities as well as some inquiries – all occasioned by the following recorded facts:

One, Quiboloy was approached by a good number of political candidates fondly called “presidentiables” for his eventual choice and anointing in order to win the recently concluded national elections according to Divine Providence.

Two, Quiboloy himself said that he needed time to consult his heavenly “Father” for the purpose of listening well to “Him” for proper guidance, knowledge and decision whom among the candidates to officially endorse.

Three, Quiboloy was eventually proved wrong in his identification and choice of presidential candidate as the anointed one. [Test if the Spirit is the Spirit!]               

Cruz said “without the least desire or design for people to doubt, much less to ridicule the same ‘Son of God’, reason and logic however are seeking clear answer to some plain questions.”

Did Quiboloy’s “Father” in effect commit a mistake and consequently proved wrong in “His” revelation to “His” own “Son”? Cruz wondered. [Isn't that disparaging?  I kinda like it!]

Was the “Son” instead in receipt of the wrong revelation, and thereby identified and anointed the wrong “presidentiable?”

And were the multi-million devotees and followers of the “Son of God” after all unwilling to listen to him and accept his official endorsement? – With Eva Visperas

Let us start cleaning our own backyards, dear Holy Father!  They are causing more harm to Catholics than we ever know.  They will continue to spread their venom unless we do something about it.  If we continue to sit on our hands and do nothing about what they are doing, we are sending a message to the whole Catholic world that it is OK to live as a heretic.
