My own epic fail

What's the worst thing to say in front of a dead man?

I had a full day yesterday.

Tons of meetings.

Met a lot of politicians and candidates for next week's election...

Too tired...too hungry...10PM still had no dinner.

Went for a last stop visit to pay my respects for the deceased brother of a brother Knight.

Approached the casket...started praying.

"Bless us O Lord and these thy...."

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh...oh..."

"Uhm...Uhm....We give you thanks..."

DARN IT!!!!

A real life Mr. Bean tragedy?

Remember this scene from the first Mr. Bean movie?

Can't believe it will really happen in real life!

Another case of life imitates art?

Or life ruins art.

RH: The Ring of Power!

A beautiful piece from the Monk's Hobbit over at his Facebook page:

What does the RH Bill promise us? It is the great Ring of Power: it will reduce poverty, promote responsible parenthood, and lead to good governance–the high and ultimate purpose that our country has striven hard to accomplish only to be derailed by the Catholic Church and the Anti-RH groups. The RH Bill promises us a “choice”–to order our married life as we will. We can bide our time until we are financially and emotionally ready to have children. We can justify to ourselves that we are obeying our conscience whenever we use the condom or the pill, and ignore many things that pester our thoughts, such as the possibility of getting pregnant, because the unwanted child that can easily be disposed by morning-after pills or abortion. Each child should be a child we want to have and not a child by accident. And as we use the pills more and more through the help of RH Bill, our power over our bodies will also grow, and we shall be like the gods who define what is good and what is evil through three criteria–me, myself, and I. We can forget about what the Catholic Church says–it’s a Medieval institution out of touch of the modern-day Filipinos. Mortal sin? There is no sense of talking about ”a sin whose object is grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent.” These are scholastic definitions and modern man has no need for such rubbish. And if the government passes the RH Bill, millions of dollars from UN and US will pour into the Philippines. The poor shall be no more. There will be a high quality of life for all. By embracing the RH Bill, we remain as Pro-Life as ever. There need not be, there would not be, any real change in our designs, only in our means.

Wonderful words befitting of Saruman the Wise. But his voice has already lost its charm: the end does not justify the means.

That is the allegory of the Ring of Power as told to us by the Catholic J.R.R. Tolkien (who died attending the Latin Tridentine Mass).

Absolute power corrupts absolutely...

The RH Bill promises to be a magic silver bullet...the Ring of Power that will give you everything you want, right Smeagol?...They are all GOLLUM!

This is her eventual fate.  Love her looking like this.

Jabba da Hut?  Yeah........Gollum din.  Hungry for power...........and money.
Smeagol lonely.  Smeagol can't find Precious...(The commission from pushing RH.)

Sing with me!  "There's a zombie on your lawn...There's a zombie on your lawn...."

Sylvia Claudio:  Smeagol wants babies torn to pieces, because Smeagol wants rights of women to abortion!

Dr. Esperanza Cabral:  "Smeagol sucked as DOH Secretary so Smeagol wants to make up for Smeagol's screw ups!"
Dr. Junice Melgar:  "Smeagol knows where you can have abortion!  Smeagol shows you where!  It's in Quiapo.  But Smeagol only promotes RH.  But if you want abortion, Smeagol shows you where.  But Smeagol doesn't promote abortion, only RH.  But if you want abortion, Smeagol shows you where............"

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......
WAH?!?!

Funny how these people love to trash the Church they cannot even do a little Googling on what happens in the Catholic Church ceremony they are covering.

Oops!  Yahoo doing a Google.

HELP I NEED PROTECTION!!!

Someone is stalking me!  Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

I was having a boring day when I received an email from a good friend who just came from an "event" in Pasig yesterday.

They were insisting that I am a brother of a priest!

WHA?!

I have a brother who is a priest?

Better ask my sister in law if she knew what my brother is doing.

Or maybe my brother is secretly Aglipayan or ordained by Milingo for the Moonies.

LOL!

I think I have an idea who they are talking about.  Poor guy.  He might get mauled one day for all the heat that the blog is generating, good and bad, and they think they got the RIGHT GUY!

Or maybe, just maybe.....

I AM A SECRET SSPX JUST LIKE WHAT THAT GUY IN CAPS USED TO SAY!!!!

And that other Vizayan guy thinks he cracked the code!

He just can't help it.  Try commenting on his bishop, even if the bishop did something bad, and you'll sure get a ton of fan heat from him.  You know the same kind of heat you get when you tell your female friends that Piolo Pascual is.............

LOL!!!!

Oh come on guys, cheer up!  I'm just ribbing you!

To cut to the chase guys, here are the clues to my real identity:

  1. I am a Knight of Columbus, Faithful Navigator, Past Grand Knight and Former District Deputy
  2. Former Major Seminarian of....................hahaha!  Think I'd tell you, huh?  Ask Andres Bonifacio if you can resurrect him from the dead.
  3. Occasionally visits Intramuros to.............
  4. Has LOTS of news sources here and abroad.
  5. And I am a member of a Tertiary / Secular Order.  If you follow the blog, you'll know what Order I belong to.
That's all you'll ever get folks!

Ok, so, start the chase and here is your map to help you find where and who I am.

Now I love this group!

For making themselves known for who they are.

Bunch of brats, whiners and degenerates who desperately call out for attention.

The FAT HATTER trying to look manly......

The bi-sexual leader, Satan's agent.....

Robin the girl blunder who left her laundry duties just to hold a pole....

And a white board snatcher that SAYS IT ALL!!

They have done almost everything!

Except...........THINK.

And the fat dude is "groping" for money, no pun intended.

Sue him at the BIR!  Doña Carlita does not issue receipts!

And I noticed that as soon as she made the Manila Cathedral stunt, and I blogged about my open challenge to this tub of lard, he immediately issued a call to his Facebook followers to troll on the blog.  I did a little Googling on "her name" and noticed that my post would always end up on top of the list of searches.  Hmmmm...Carlita is looking for how many are writing about her!

Nasty attention devil!

And in case we forget...

These degenerates are mostly educated in Catholic schools.  They began "freethinking" when they were taught there!  Yup, all that freedom to think and all that stuff.  The problem is, they were indoctrinated to hate the Church and question what She teaches.

Dogma is like gravity.  It is unchanging.

Deal with it!

And these degenerates think it is simple child's play.

We are often told when we were kids never to play with fire.  Now this time, keep your kids away from these real life trolls, zombies who just crave attention and like the video game, love to eat brains for sustenance.  You know, making a scene just to look intelligent.

Hope to see these Brady Bunch do their stuff in Jolo.

Hmmm...When will they do the "stupid" white board with Allah on it.

That I gotta see!!!

Miriam has Lucifer worrying!

Both in hell arguing, Miriam reprimanded Lucifer calling him not educated enough to prove that hell exists!
"You don't have a Masters degree in MST!" said Santiago.  To which the leader of Hell replied, "Go to hell!"
Miriam retorted  "You fungus faced rascal!  Show your degrees first before you can prove the existence of hell!"

***

VATICAN CITY (L’Osservatore Romano)—A Catholic priest accidentally sent a residential area of Afterlife reeling in fear and confusion when he consigned a Philippine senator to Hell for publicly insulting prosecutors in the impeachment of the country’s top jurist.

Father Catalino Arevalo declared in a homily that Sen. Miriam Santiago deserved “the fires of Hell” for calling prosecutors fools for their mishandling of their accusations. The priest’s pronouncement immediately sent shivers to residents of the Hellfire and Brimstone neighborhoods of Hell.

“We’re okay with the eternal scorching and scalding, but adding nonstop, high-decibel diatribes to that would be intolerable,” complained Lucrezia Borgia, who hurriedly packed her exotic poisons to evacuate to a truly violent but quieter neighborhood, Circle Seven.

Panicked residents like Borgia learned of the looming crisis triggered by Santiago’s possible arrival when the piped-in music system abruptly stopped playing “Unchained Melody” and began airing ominous choral passages from “Carmina Burana,” which were made famous by horror movies.

Legions of fallen angels, including incubi and succubi, were seen scampering to emergency posts to await further orders. Three-headed hellhounds closed the famous Tunnel of White Light, which will remain shut until further notice. Extra units of disembodied Nephilim guards were posted to make sure Santiago does not arrive before the neighborhood’s evacuation is completed.

Satan shocked
In a hastily called press conference, Hell’s president, Satan, expressed shock and dismay and criticized Fr. Arevalo’s “unilateral and egregious judgment.” Satan told reporters who were standing knee-deep in excrement that short-listing Sen. Santiago for Hell was cruel and unusual punishment.

“Jesus Christ! Can’t this priest see people here are suffering enough already? It’s just not fair to them. She’s the last thing we need,” hissed the old devil, who fidgeted and nervously chewed his barbed tail.

The outspoken Philippine senator added to the confusion when in response to Fr. Arevalo she confidently declared, “There is no Hell as a geographical place,” which made demons pinch themselves frantically to confirm their existence.
Satan explained that he was simply not prepared for the sharp-tongued senator to take up residence in his realm. “I pray to God that we be spared the logistical requirements of her arrival here. Where will I get a megazillion earplugs to protect my citizens’ eardrums?”

Satan also defended his lack of preparation, arguing that Sloth was clearly in his job description. “And the prospect of being scolded again and again by Senator Santiago would be too damaging to my self-esteem, and you know I must maintain a certain amount of Pride to be worthy of my name.”

Asked if he was just scared there was not room enough in Hell for the both of them, Satan became extremely irritated and sidestepped the question. He excoriated the reporters instead.

“The mainstream media’s effort to quote unquote demonize Senator Santiago is grossly unfair to demons. The MSM is gratuitously tainting our already bad name.”

Before Satan retreated into the Inner Mouth of Hell, which reporters thought was just a big pothole on EDSA courtesy of the Department of Public Works, he clarified that he did not have the power to determine any government official’s ultimate fate, contrary to popular belief.

“I can’t stop Ms. Santiago or any Filipino public official. Let’s make one thing clear, people. I’m just the Prince of Darkness, not Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.”

Some prominent hell-raisers, however, disagreed with Satan’s “overreaction” to Santiago’s pending sentence and saw economic potential to her coming.

“I foresee a spike in the number of masochists looking for entertainment, ditto for sadists—Miriam is going to be in great demand,” predicted Dante Alighieri, CEO of Infernal Tours and Cruises, Inc.
Alighieri added, “Satan shouldn’t worry too much about the logistics of Santiago’s permanent residency.”

“Three words,” he explained. “Infrastructure, infrastructure, infrastructure.” Alighieri believed Santiago would cause little trouble if the accommodations made her feel welcome.

“Give her a nice new suite, say, in the Eighth Circle, Malebolge, for narcissists, with state-of-the-art voice monitors so she could hear herself talk all the time.”

St. Peter cautious
Aftershocks of the crisis in Hellfire corner Brimstone were felt in the Upper Reaches of firmament.
According to unconfirmed reports, Saint Peter has ordered new deadbolts and sophisticated combination locks for the Pearly Gate. A top cherubim guarding Eden disclosed that he heard Saint Peter issue a warning.

“With these Filipino senators you can never be too careful,” said the old saint, gently stroking his… rooster.
“Most of them are lawyers and some are even fond of being the Devil’s Advocate. If you’re not careful, their tangled interpretations of Biblical tenets can spin your head around —and boom, one is slipping through our Gate before you know it.”

Saint Peter cautioned his celestial jurors that Sen. Santiago has a master’s degree in theology. “If anyone can sneak through the eye of a needle, it’s a lawyer with a real graduate degree to boot, not one of those made-up ones from the University of Santo Tomas.”

Jiggling his keys, the top saint asked Angel Gabriel if egress to the Kingdom was securely shut and that all cherubs, seraphs, ophanim and archangels have been properly briefed so they would not mistake Senator Santiago for someone who should be let in.

“Don’t worry, my dear master,” Gabriel replied, “it will be a cold day in Hell before that happens.”

But the report still says that the Eucharist is Christ's relic.

While liberals and dissenters might say "Yes, it is a relic of Christ because the true Christ lives in our hearts.  He is resurrected in our hearts."  Catholics who know their Catechism KNOW FOR A FACT that the Eucharist IS CHRIST HIMSELF... BODY, BLOOD, SOUL AND DIVINITY.

And not just a relic, a symbol, a representation...

That His Presence in the Eucharist begins at the words of consecration "Hoc est enim corpus meum..." and persists even after the celebration of the Mass, and as long as the appearance of bread remain.

And not like what we hear in theology schools nowadays that ;"We are Eucharist.  The presence of Christ remains in the Eucharist as long as we remain as a community."

Huh?!?!

Now you wonder why Catholics are pro-contraception and pro-divorce?!

They all begin down there!

Pope to Space Station! Come in Space Station!

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla.The 12 astronauts circling the Earth received a blessing from Pope Benedict XVI on Saturday in the first ever papal call to space.

The pope addressed the crews of the linked space shuttle Endeavour and International Space Station from the Vatican, making special mention of the U.S. commander's wounded congresswoman wife and the recently deceased mother of one of the two Italian astronauts on board.

The historic communication — "extraordinary" in the pope's words — took place just a couple of hours after the shuttle astronauts finished inspecting a small gash in Endeavour's belly to ensure their safety when returning to Earth. It is the next-to-last flight in NASA's 30-year shuttle program.

Seated at a table before a television set tuned to NASA's live broadcast from orbit, Benedict said the space fliers are "our representatives spearheading humanity's exploration of new spaces and possibilities for our future." He said he admired their courage, discipline and commitment.

"It must be obvious to you how we all live together on one Earth and how absurd it is that we fight and kill each one," [Beautiful words!] the pontiff said, reading from prepared remarks. "I know that Mark Kelly's wife was a victim of a serious attack, and I hope her health continues to improve."

Kelly, who's Catholic, thanked the pope for his kind words. His wife, U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, [who is pro-abortion by the way.] had surgery to repair her skull Wednesday, four months after being shot in the head at a political event in Tucson, Ariz.

The shuttle commander told the pope that borders cannot be seen from space and noted that on Earth, people usually fight for resources. At the space station, solar power provides unlimited energy, "and if those technologies could be adapted more on Earth, we could possibly reduce some of that violence," he said.  [And you wonder who controls the cost of solar panels, huh?]

Benedict also asked about the future of the planet and the environmental risks it faces, and wanted to know what the astronauts' most important message would be for young people when they return home.

Space station astronaut Ronald Garan Jr. spoke of the paper-thin layer of atmosphere "that separates every living thing from the vacuum of space." And shuttle crewman Mike Fincke described how he and his colleagues "can look down and see our beautiful planet Earth that God has made."

"However, if we look up, we can see the rest of the universe, and the rest of the universe is out there for us to explore," Fincke said. "The International Space Station is just one symbol, one example, of what human beings can do when we work together constructively."

Near the end of the 18-minute conversation, Benedict expressed concern for astronaut Paolo Nespoli, whose 78-year-old mother died in northern Italy at the beginning of May while he was serving on the space station.

"How have you been living through this time of pain on the International Space Station?" the pope asked.

"Holy Father, I felt your prayers and everyone's prayers arriving up here where outside the world ... we have a vantage point to look at the Earth and we feel everything around us," Nespoli replied in Italian.

Nespoli will end his five-month space station mission Monday, returning to Earth on a Russian Soyuz capsule.

He will bring back with him a silver medal that shuttle astronaut Roberto Vittori took up with him aboard Endeavour, that was provided by the pope. It depicts Michelangelo's "Creation of Man," the painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. [What?!?!  Not WOMYN?!?!]

Vittori floated the commemorative coin in front of him, then gently tossed it to Nespoli, positioned on the opposite end of the front row of astronauts.

"I brought it with me to space, and he will take down on Earth to then give back to you," Vittori told the pontiff. He added that he prays in space "for me, for our families, for our future."

The long-distance papal audience was arranged by the European Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency. NASA provided technical support from Mission Control in Houston.

Inside the ancient frescoed halls of the Vatican — where email wasn't even in wide use until a few years ago — the call was received with visible awe.

The 84-year-old Benedict chuckled when one of the astronauts began floating up at the end of the transmission. He waved to the crew at the beginning and end of the call.

The Vatican spokesman, the Rev. Federico Lombardi, said the call was evidence of the pope's desire to communicate with people however possible, be it sending a text message with a prayer of the day or a YouTube channel playing church teachings.

Pope Paul VI sent a greeting to the moon with Apollo 11's Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in 1969, but it was in a silicon disk that contained goodwill messages from numerous countries and was left on the Sea of Tranquility. "I look up at your heavens, made by your fingers, at the moon and stars you set in place," said Paul VI, quoting from Psalms 8......

Well, the INC Executive Minister isn't that special to send a message to space.

Ha!

Maybe one of the spires in the Central Temple will shoot him up to space?
