Catholic priest needs your help

Fr. Abe Arganiosa of the Splendor of the Church website posted reports about the INC or should I say INM's reported denial of non INM members to seek shelter inside their houses of worship (aka forced tax collection centers) during the onslaught of Yolanda.

Now, hecklers, INMs and atheists are ganging up on him.

In a latest post, the website presented more proof about the lies of the Iglesia ni Manalo, proof that they really were lying about the issue of refusing people to stay inside their chapels.

Visit the site and come to his aid.

Filipino Freethinkers host fundraising

They thought of holding a fund raiser and doing it a WEEK after the tragedy.

They cannot even pull out some of their cash from their own pockets to send to the victims.

They cannot even lift their fat fingers off the computer keyboards to help repacking relief goods.

No.

They still spend much of the time hating a God who they think does not exist.

See the great irony?

They hate Someone they believe does not exist.

They'll get donations for victims of the tragedy while spewing curses against religion and the God who they think was found sleeping on the job.

Yeah, they blame everything bad that happens to them, and to everyone else, except themselves.

Kinda like this guy.

PS:  The atheists would want to meet in front of a church.

Hypocrites.

Day of Lament and Hope: Solidality in Prayer

This Saturday, November 16, is a day of PENANCE, RECOLLECTION AND FASTING in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila.

Kids from far-away lands, do their part for typhoon victims

posted by Twitter user Shekinah.  Hope we could get their names.

God bless you kids.

While these kids do their part, our favorite Looney tune character, not from Warner Brothers, has this to say.

She made the "request" 4 hours ago, but the Pope sent the donation Monday.

Seriously.

Celdran is an idiot.

And seriously, those who liked the post and ranted their heads off complaining no help from the Church are all chips from the same stinking block.

How about the Iglesia ni Cristo???

A call to do Works of Mercy

We usually have a novemdiales for a dead pontiff, or a dead relative, but the Filipino bishops saw it fit to declare a novemdiales for all victims of the recent calamities.

MANILA, Nov. 11, 2013—The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines declared a nationwide nine-day  prayer and charity drive from November 11 to 19 for the victims of typhoon Yolanda and the earthquake in Central Philippines, which happened a few weeks ago.

Archbishop Jose Palma, CBCP president, in a circular said all Masses and prayers for the following nine days will be offered for the dead and the grieving families they left behind.

He also encouraged dioceses and parishes to conduct a charity fund collection within the same week and have the collection transmitted as soon as possible to the bishops in the calamity stricken provinces.

About 22 out of 86 archdioceses, dioceses and apostolic vicariates in the country were affected by “Yolanda” which packed 235 kilometer per hour sustained winds and gustiness of 275 kph.

The strongest cyclone to strike the Philippines in several decades, typhoon Yolanda has left in its wake massive destruction as it battered and flattened several towns and knocked down communications lines in many provinces in Central Philippines,

As government reports of death and missing come trickling in, some news reports pegged death toll and number of missing persons could reach to thousands even in Tacloban City alone because of the massive devastation. (CBCPNews)

PS:  Black is the color of mourning.  And black as a liturgical color is NOT, I repeat, NOT forbidden by the current liturgical books.

Check your GIRM.

346. As regards the colour of sacred vestments, traditional usage should be observed,
namely:
 e) The colour black may be used, where it is the practice, in Masses for the Dead.
It has always been the practice, until some ill informed priest or liturgist forced us to use only white or purple.

Pope emeritus Benedict XVI used it before.

Any naysayers about black?

This is my response.

BREAKING NEWS: Message from the Holy Father to the Philippines

This guy is NOT a priest!

This guy is not a cleric, although he..ermm 'vests' more properly than most priests. Kudos to him on that department!

Is this a simulated 'Misa ng Sambayanang Pilipino'? Illegal na nga ang ginagawa niya, illegal pa pati ang liturhiya na ginagaya niya. Double whammy!

No difference to this.

Wait, did I just say no difference?

How about these? What is the logical reason behind these images? Is he posing for Halloween, or All Saint's Day, or CosPlay, or just plain lunacy?

Again, no difference to these.

THESE VESTMENTS WERE MADE FOR SACRED USE. TO USE THEM OUTSIDE THE LITURGY IS A BLATANT EXAMPLE OF THE LOSS OF THE SENSE OF THE SACRED.

Even if these vestments are, for the sake of argument, not yet blessed, their purpose is not met because of the LUNACY OF THESE YOUNG MEN.

UPDATE!!!

This guy (?) is coming in all colors!

And the INC said they were spared from the earthquake...

A shoutout to Ric Anthony Reyes for the photos of the cracked chapels, ala GULP style.  :)

Because they are the "true" religion, as they reasoned.

Weh?

Cracks in the Manalo Starship Enterprise are obvious.

One of the rocket ships lost its antenna.  Guess the "true religion" insurance policy failed, no?

And my favorite one of all...

Crash landed even before it could leave Planet Earth.

"Houston we have a problem"
"Kapatid, nasa Commonwealth ang homebase!"

PS:  This is no joke.  INC ministers preach that come Judgment Day, salvation will be in their chapels and these chapels with the "saved"  INC members will be transported to heaven during the Rapture.

Yup.  Seriously.

It's in their own Bible....unpublished.

BREAKING NEWS: Vatican donates money to typhoon victims

VATICAN CITY — The Vatican on Monday announced it is donating $150,000 (112,000 euro) in emergency aid to the Philippines after Super Typhoon  “Yolanda” (international name: Haiyan) devastated entire communities and left more than 10,000 people feared dead.  [Wait for it!..............the Filipino Freefarters would really be barking mad about sending "crumbs" from the billion dollar coffers of the Church.  Yes, these brats who "help" by "liking" and "sharing" posts and by attacking the Church does their share of being "human", by sitting behind their desks in front of their computers, while they demand the Church to help.  Hey!  Why not ask Manalo?]

“Following the Haiyan Typhoon… the Holy Father has decided to send a first contribution of 150,000 dollars to help the population,” the Vatican said in a statement.

The aid “will be distributed through the local Church in the areas worst hit by the tragedy” and will be “used to support aid operations for displaced people,” it added.  [And the good will be distributed to those who are affected, not based on religion, like what the Iglesia ni Cristo is doing.  Good job INC!  Show your true colors more!  That is the best way to de-proselytize!]

The donation is intended as “a concrete expression of the pontiff’s spiritual closeness and paternal support for the people and territories devastated by the floods,” it said.  [While the Manalos spend their time counting the money they will lose from the suspended church services in that part of the country.  You know they will still get back at those members.  They'll count the days of worship suspended and collect the arrears in the tithes and "alay" of their poor members.]

Pope Francis led 60,000 people in Sunday prayers for the Philippines, urging the faithful to provide “concrete help” to the largely Roman Catholic country.

I ask all of you to join me in prayer for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan / Yolanda especially those in the beloved islands of the Philippines,” he tweeted on Saturday.

How about the Iglesia of the Manalos?

They boast of their medical mission right?

Now is the PERFECT time to do so.

No money sent, yet huh.

No doors opening for the survivors, no?

No medical mission going to Tacloban, no?

Guess they have very few INM members in Tacloban so they do not need to send a lot to help their own kind no?

So we know now who is really plain, and no frills HUMAN between the two churches, no?

I was asked to stop condemning sin

I was about to post this on Facebook but I decided to post it on the blog.

**

For those who think exposing sins and evil like how I do it is making you uncomfortable, and you think I am not being a true Christian for calling out erring people, you are free to unfriend me.  I do not belong to the Church of Nice.
