This is what she said to suspected pork barrel scam mastermind, Janet Napoles Lim during today's Senate hearing.

"Is it true that you are close to a certain Catholic congregation? Are you familiar with the Ten Commandments? Are you familiar with the commandment: You shall not steal? Are you familiar with the commandment: You should not tell a lie? And still, with the plunder case against you, you remain and consider yourself to be a devout Catholic?"

Now let's paraphrase that shall we and let us turn the tables against her.

"Is it true that you are close to a certain Catholic theology school, the MST? Are you familiar with the Catechism of the Catholic Church? Are you familiar Humanae Vitae? Are you familiar with the teachings about the Catholic Church against artificial contraception? And still, with theology degrees you keep on floundering, and by authoring the RH Law and publicly insulting the bishops and priests who uphold Catholic teaching you remain and consider yourself to be a devout Catholic?" 

 

Honestly, I just watched the Senate hearing to see her rant her head off trying to tell everyone who listened and watched how a genius she is.

And look at the irony of it all!

When faith blinds reason

On a certain page in the World Wide Web, this blogger priest and some of his minions call this horrible travesty as a big FAKE,  a fat LIE, a PHOTOSHOPPED image.

Well, HEAR YE, HEAR YE! This is a real Mexican priest, a real chasuble, in a real parish!

Why do Catholics like this 'priest' blogger insist that any abuse shown online in the Mass of Paul VI, a legal, acceptable, Ordinary Form of the one Roman Rite, are from "diabolically manipulated Traditionalists, SSPX, and sedevacantists"? Hindi ba puwedeng galing sa Catolico na namumuna dahil mahal namin ang Simbahan?

One minion even commented that the image is "obviously photoshopped", even name-dropping a gentleman with a Master's Degree in photography!

I cannot help but remember my father's favorite line: MAHIRAP GISINGIN ANG NAGTUTULOG-TULOGAN.

Look who celebrated Novus Ordo Ad Orientem part II

Following the footsteps of Popes Benedict XVI and Francis, the current CBCP President, Archbishop Jose Palma, offered the Novus Ordo Mass Ad Orientem in Cebu.

We cannot help but recall this same gesture by the incoming CBCP President (effective 1 December 2013) Archbishop Socrates Villegas.

If these two bishops can do it, why not your bishop? Why not your priest? Why not your parish? Why not your school?

Archbishop Palma even distributed Holy Communion to kneeling communicants, on the tongue!

The good Archbishop offered this Mass at the Chapel of the Holy Relics, the Convential Chapel of the friars of the Order of the Discalced Augustinians, Tabor Hill in Brgy. San Jose (Talamban) in Cebu City.

I am sure that the fans of the blog, specially that blogger priest, Teletubbie and others, will say that Archbishop Palma himself did not request for an Ad Orientem Mass, with communion on the tongue while kneeling. 

Yes! That is correct. 

But he did not object to it! These two Archbishops have Pastoral Guts to do what is right! While Jennifer et. al. have the Guts of Disobedience to resist this.
