While the atheist group, Filipino Freethinkers are posting this:
Let me get this straight and know this ok?
This atheist group is not against religion per se.
It is against ROMAN CATHOLICISM.
Just that, period.
The biggest bunch of bigots this side of the planet.
Will they ask the same kind of question to...
IGLESIA NI CRISTO?
MORMON CHURCH?
GREENHILLS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP?
MUSLIMS?
Nah. They won't.
QUESTION:
What has the Filipino Freethinkers done to help those affected by the floods?
Did they open their doors to those in need?
The attention hungry homosexual, masking as a bi-sexual, named Carlos Celdran, did not post any photo of his supposed "help" to the flood victims.
Kinda, unusual for someone who craves and hungers for attention, for every second of the day that he breathes precious oxygen.
These brats are happy bashing the Church, in front of their keyboards and monitors or tablets, while they stay comfortably inside their warm room.

WHERE ARE YOUR PHOTOS RED TANI?
to the author of Pinoy Catholic blog, i chatted mr. Red Tani, here is our conversation:
ReplyDeletehe said: "I won't post pictures of myself helping just for their sake."
i asked: but is it true that you did not help anyone or do something using the name of your organisation during the flood?
he replied: "We've donated, volunteered, and helped out independently."
but he never answered my question: ahh...any assurance that it is true? well, because for me, to see is to believe..
ano po ba ang magiging response niyo sir?
tell him that for an attention hungry lowlife like him, photos say a thousand words.
DeleteHe demands a lot from the Catholic Church, now it is his turn to put his money where his mouth is.
If he can't walk the talk, then he can stick it up where the sun doesn't shine.
I Was About to be Red's "Devil's Advocate" when The Guy Above put His conversation with Him.
DeleteIf You're A Humble Man than these Fundie Bigots Mr Freethinker, then WHY DID YOU NOT FOLLOW DAWKINS'S EXAMPLE OF HUMANITARIAN AID FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE 2010 HAITI EARTHQUAKE?!?!?!(Sorry for the caps, was being sarcastic)
I had to laugh when you said "photos say a thousand words." You try so much to look like a good christian but you complicate and contradict yourself, even the Christian views. Isn't it the church's teaching to help others without asking/expecting anything in return? Well, based on what you just posted, you are asking for public sympathy.
DeleteI just had to facepalm on this post. You just wasted a lot of internet space. And you even have the nerve to call others bigots.
Do not hide your own selfish schemes by posting pictures of Christians helping others. You even dare to use the country's tragedy and these people to promote yourself. Do you help others just to look cool on the public's eyes? Did you not help them because you wanted to help them, not because you wanted to look cool? Did you find it in your heart to help them without asking in return? You are just like those dirty politicians slapping banners in every public space they find with their own name just to show they're helping others.
If you are a true Christian, you would continue to help others without trying to prove something. If you truly believe in a god, then let him see your ways. You're pretending to be a knight in shining armor but you are nothing but a bigoted self-indulgent monkey. Such a shame you call yourself a Catholic.
Yeah rant all you want. You godless inhumans are not only godless but you are also heartless.
DeleteYou continue to babble against religious groups yet you did not even lift a finger to help others.
Damnables!
Where did you get the idea that I am godless? That I am inhuman? That I am heartless? That I did not even lift a finger to help others?
DeletePutting words into someone else's mouth? You violated the bible again, my dear knight-in-shining-armor. Be careful, god might send you to the depths of hell for this.
"Fools base their thoughts on foolish assumptions,so their conclusions will be wicked madness;"
Ecclesiastes 10:13
Oh please, even the devil quotes Scripture. Let me dissect what you posted earlier:
Delete"Isn't it the church's teaching to help others without asking/expecting anything in return?" First, TPC didn't say that the Church was asking for something in return. We were just defending ourselves. These freethinkers charged the Church of doing nothing to help the flood victims. So TPC and others GAVE PROOF. Anong pinagpuputok ng butse mo ngayon?
"I just had to facepalm on this post. You just wasted a lot of internet space. And you even have the nerve to call others bigots." Oh please, with all the trash out there in cyberspace, nagrereklamo ka sa post na ito? It's TPC's blog, he can do what he wants with it. Got a problem with that, then make your own.
"Do not hide your own selfish schemes by posting pictures of Christians helping others. You even dare to use the country's tragedy and these people to promote yourself. Do you help others just to look cool on the public's eyes? Did you not help them because you wanted to help them, not because you wanted to look cool? Did you find it in your heart to help them without asking in return? You are just like those dirty politicians slapping banners in every public space they find with their own name just to show they're helping others." Promoting? These photos would not have seen sunshine had the likes of Celdran and Tani spread the LIE that the Church was doing nothing to help the flood victims. For the sake of the souls that they might lead astray, and that these LIARS and CHILDREN OF SATAN may be CONFOUNDED and PUT TO SHAME, we showed PROOF. We have a right to defend ourselves as much as you do. Hindi lang ikaw ang anak ng unggoy (in case you believe Darwin like these freethinkers and atheists). Don't be so presumptuous.
"If you are a true Christian, you would continue to help others without trying to prove something. If you truly believe in a god, then let him see your ways." Sorry, you are NOT a Christian unless you are a faithful, believing, obedient member of the Catholic Church. And yes, camera or no camera the Church continues to do Her Charity work around the world. Want proof of that? 'Wag na, baka sabihin mo mayabang kami at 'di mga tunay na Kristiyano, hehe.
As Brillat-Savarin once said, you are what you eat. Now if you eat bigots for breakfast...
At this point, it is better if either side, whether Conservative Catholic, Liberal Turo-Turo Catholic, Secular-Humanist, New Atheist or whatever, is better off setting aside their issues for now to pool resources and coordinate efforts to assist in those affected by the rains.
ReplyDeleteIt's a better way to bring His Kingdom here.
Correction: There is only ONE way to bring His Kingdom here: THE CATHOLIC CHURCH'S WAY. Liberal Sampay-Bakod Catholic, Secular-Humanist, Atheist (or in the Bible's words, FOOLS); ANY WAY CONTRARY TO THE CHRIST'S WILL EXPRESSED THROUGH THE TEACHINGS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH LEADS ONLY TO DESTRUCTION, DEATH AND HELL.

ReplyDeleteNobody needs to see your stupid photos, this is not a popularity contest. You have completely missed the point, once again. Most religion is nonsense, it just so happens that Catholicism goes beyond benign lunacy and advocates ignorance. You are a product of that ignorance, and it makes it much easier for them to use and control you. I hope you never have children.
ReplyDeleteBrother tell me what atheism contributed to the world and I'll show you what my religion did.
DeleteAll religion (or lack of it) has boons and banes. We should respect people who have beliefs other than ours, especially if we are the more dominant lot.
DeleteFirst, atheism haven't contributed anything to the world. It's a lack of belief in god. What can that contribute to the world? Same as catholicism, what did it contribute to the world? Or are you referring to "atheists" and "catholics"?
DeleteContributions you want? Let's see. Albert Einstein, I'm sure you know him and what he contributed to the world. There's Mark Twain, Charles Darwin, Abraham Lincoln, Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking and the list goes on. I will not be surprised if you don't know some of them.
What has Christianity, Catholicism in particular, caused to today's world? Love? Peace? Prosperity? Don't make me laugh.
You are talking about personalities here.
DeleteGive me a positive impact that atheism contributed to the world? Did atheism contribute to any uhm.......charitable work?
Let us not get too far. Let us stay in the Philippines.
Where is your goddess Red Tani's charitable work?
Let's not stray far from the issue, the question here is: CELDRAN AND TANI ACCUSED THE CHURCH OF DOING NOTHING TO HELP THE MONSOON FLOOD VICTIMS. TPC SHOWED TONS OF PROOF TO THE CONTRARY. ERGO THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR COHORTS HAVE LIED AND BORNE FALSE WITNESS. WHAT WILL THEY DO? Do we have an APOLOGY coming from these people, or will their supporters like YOU still SIDESTEP the issue with further accusations of being "mayabang" and "unchristian"? Come on, @Ieatbigots, are Celdran and Tani wrong about their accusations or not? Yun lang sagutin mo. Don't try to cover up for their HYPOCRISY and MALICE by turning the tables on the Church and TPC. Eto pa: prove that what defending oneself from defamation, like what TPC has done for the Church against Celdran and Tani, is WRONG. Enough of the non-sequiturs and stick to the matter at hand, because I smell a tatic of attempting to cover up this MAJOR MAJOR BLUNDER by the Freelickers and atheists (or as the Bible calls them, FOOLS).
DeleteI believe that the reason why other people, like the freethinkers for example, do not feel the need to post pictures of themselves engaging in charitable work is because they have already dedicated their lives helping out others. If you spend your days fighting for and advocating human rights, what need do you have to post pictures engaging in relief ops and exploiting the tragedy of others just to make yourself look good in the eyes of others?
ReplyDeletePersonally, I do not feel the need to show the world what I do during times like these because I know that just by braving the rains and floods to get to the hospital so that hospital operations and services do not get hindered, I've already done our part as good and responsible Filipinos.
If the god that believers believe in really is all-knowing as they claim it to be, there is no need for pictures to be posted in different media because that god already knows what is happening. At the end of the day, it shouldn't be the promise of an afterlife in heaven that should guide us in doing good deeds but the mere fact that we are human beings and must always do what is humane, fair and just. If you are doing what you believe is good only because you want to end up in heaven, you are nothing but a very selfish human being.
Eh ganun naman pala Ria, if true humility calls for anonimity in your charitable activities, then why the hell did these freebooters, err, thinkers ask the Church for proof of our charity work? SILA ang nagumpisa. SILA ang nanghingi ng pruweba sa amin. At binigay naman namin ang hinihingi nila, at NAPAHIYA SILA NG KATAKOT-TAKOT. AND WHEN WE TURNED THE TABLES ON THEM, EH SASABIHAN KAMI NA MAYABANG AT 'DI MGA TUNAY NA KRISTIYANO DAHIL IPINAPAKITA NAMIN KUNG ANO ANG GINAGAWA NAMING PAGTULONG. Really, what do these atheists know about Christianity that they so utterly despise? Ria, we would not have reacted if these idiots did'nt fire the first shots. And as I have stated before, the Catholics have a right to defend their Church from DEFAMATION, for the sake and glory of Him who founded it. Saan mo kami gustong lumugar, Ria? Where is the sense of fairness in all of this, that you can rant all you want and spread damnable lies against us but we cannot defend ourselves because "it's not Christian"? Really?
DeleteI believe that the reason why other people, like the freethinkers for example, do not feel the need to post pictures of themselves engaging in charitable work is because they have already dedicated their lives helping out others. [WEH?! Di nga? WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS?]
DeleteIf you spend your days fighting for and advocating human rights, what need do you have to post pictures engaging in relief ops and exploiting the tragedy of others just to make yourself look good in the eyes of others? [Yes they post photos to show proof. Aren't atheists so addicted to looking for proof?
Now it's the atheists' turn to show their proof.
Personally, I do not feel the need to show the world what I do during times like these because I know that just by braving the rains and floods to get to the hospital so that hospital operations and services do not get hindered, I've already done our part as good and responsible Filipinos. [Well, it's your call. You said it. It's personal. But we are looking for what the ATHEIST GROUP did. Not a personal effort, but a GROUP EFFORT.]
[Are we asking the photos to show it to our God? No. I am asking it so that you THINKERS (daw) can show US non-thinkers (daw) the proof you so desire everytime you debate us. You ask for proof of God's existence, now it's your turn to show us your proof of the existence of your charitable works.] If you are doing what you believe is good only because you want to end up in heaven, you are nothing but a very selfish human being.
And you are doing this thinking thing just because of what?
Oh, yeah, feel good and look intelligent although your simple betrays it.
Under ordinary circumstances, there is no need to post pictures of you doing good works. However, if you are being unjustly lambasted for not doing anything, then you have not just the right but the duty to defend yourself. Not doing so is a sin of omission. Posting the pictures is not for God to see what good you have done; it is for others to see what the truth is.
DeleteAs a Christian, my goal is to one day join God whom I love with all my heart. To achieve that, I must love my neighbor as I love myself. To express that love for my neighbor, I try to do what is good. If that makes me selfish, I don't see the logic but so be it.
I beg to disagree with Ria Verdolaga, these photos were not uploaded to boast their achievements to God but to show to our fellow Christians that they are not alone in their hardship, that we are going to help them. God knows what is in our hearts but our fellowmen need to see that we care for them and that other Christians can do the same acts in order to help others.
DeleteI believe that the reason why other people, like the freethinkers for example, do not feel the need to post pictures of themselves engaging in charitable work is because they have already dedicated their lives helping out others. Not a popularity contest or just that your goddess named Red Tani and Carlos Celdran cannot show anything because they did not do anything while the whole metropolis suffers!
ReplyDeleteAnd you call yourself intelligent just because you do not believe in God?
Shameful degenerates.
Nagre-react lang naman ang blogger dito sa PARATANG nila Tani at Celdran na WALANG GINAGAWA ang Iglesia Katolika para sa mga nasalanta ng habagat. Certainly those two got more than they asked for, haha! If there is one who comes out as a laughingstock and a hypocrite here, it certainly isn't TPC or the Catholic Church: it's YOU libtards. You thought you could score one against us and got a humiliating rebuttal for it. You thought the Church was doing nothing to help the flood victims, forgetting that we are the largest and oldest charitable organization on the planet. At nung napahiya kayo sasabihin ninyo na mayabang kami at labag sa kautusan ng Diyos na ipakita namin ang ginagawa naming pagtulong, when you yourselves do not know squat about Christian Doctrine and reject it as lunacy and ignorance. Eh kung naniniwala pa rin kayo sa Bibliya eh 'di sana hindi niyo makakalimutan itong utos na ito: YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST YOUR NEIGHBOR. Yes, you are nothing but a bunch of libelous cowards.
ReplyDeleteWhy the need to prove yourself?
ReplyDeleteBecause the Devil's minions asked for proof, and for the Greater Glory of Him we serve, we provided proof, lest others believe their calumny and be led astray. It's that simple.
DeleteBecause we should not let Satan get away with his grand lies.
DeleteWhy did you not display my comment? Are you scared? Such a shame.
ReplyDeletePahiya much? Haha!
Deletewho's bashing now?
ReplyDeleteCan't take the same dirt that you threw?
DeleteToo bad Tani and Celdran's knowledge of the Church is confined to a single character that Jose Paciano Rizal had used in his novel. Too bad this sinister image was accepted hook-line-and-sinker as gospel truth for all the Friars and Clergies at that time. BUt we all know Rizal himself have had so many friends among the clergy, and we all know that they stuck up with him till his execution day.
ReplyDeleteThere will always be rotten apples, even among the clergies, as with any other human institution. Yet this is no sufficient reason to conclude that all priests and bishops are evil as Damaso was.
In case we're only aware of Pedro Calungsod and Lorenzo Ruiz, the Church during the Spanish times has produced other saints
St Pedro Bautista, who died in martyrdom along with St Paul Miki and companions in Japan. He spent some 10 years in the Philippine mission before sailing for Japan.
St Ezekiel Moreno OSA, who is the patron saint of cancer patients was another Philippine saint. He was ordained priest in the Philippines and worked in Negros, Calapan, Paranaque, Las Pinas, Sta Cruz Manila, and Sto Tomas Batangas. He was so well loved by his flock that they protested to his superiors each time he was reassigned to another place. He was ordered to return to Spain to be a superior of his order, but later was sent to Colombia as apostolic administrator, and later a bishop. He returned to Spain after being afflicted by cancer of the throat, where he passed away.
Surely there are other more whose cause for canonization are being processed for now. But this is proof enough that not all friars during Rizal's time were evil. Sadly, the stereotype has remained and even applied to the Church of modern days.
But calamities like this only goes to show and disprove criticism that the Church is not doing anything to help the govt. I wish they can put their mouth where their word is. Surely they are speaking from the realm of prefabricated ideas against the Church. They are obviously there not to help but merely to destroy the image of the Church.
Most Rev. Fulton Sheen once said that Christ still continues to suffer today in his Church. This is why when He appeared to St Paul, he did not say 'why are you persecuting my Church?' instead, he said: "Why are you persecuting ME?" which shows his sufferings continues in his Church, his mystical body.
"Christianity, unlike any other religion in the world, begins with catastrophe and defeat. Sunshine religions and psychological inspirations collapse in calamity and wither in adversity. But the Life of the Founder of Christianity, having begun with the Cross, ends with the empty tomb and victory.”
― Fulton J. Sheen, Life of Christ
After all, the true Church glories in Christ on the Cross, but NOT on Christ without the Cross nor on the Cross without Christ.
A blessed Feast of the Holy Cross to all!
Amen! Thanks for this contribution. I learned a lot from it.
DeleteAtheists, agnostics, freethinkers, anti-religionists and the like find it a hobby to criticize religion, most especially the Catholic Church. They brand the Church as anti-poor, corrupt, evil and other invectives they can think of from their brillaint minds and mounths. They post on Facebook scandals and crimes of clergymen and other religious believers. Well, that’s what they can do. They hit on religious believers over God, but when believers counter anti-religionists, they cry foul.
ReplyDeleteAnti-religionists and other non-believers always demand proof from the Church that it is helping people, same way as they demand believers for proof about God’s existence. But when proof is given, they become quiet, and they question on the authenticity of the proofs shown to them. They are like that black congressman in the USA who criticized white people for not adopting black children. He even arrogantly offered to pay $100,000 to someone who could show him that white people adopt black children. However, when lots of white families showed up with their adopted black children, he stayed quiet and even refused to put his money when his mouth is.
Anti-religionists and non-believers do not really understand that it is not for the Church to boast about its projects for the people. As one clergyman said, the Church does not need to tell the people and report to the media about their projects. It helps in every way they can – without sounding the trumpet. Perhaps anti-religionists and non-believers do not understand what humility is nor how the Church works.
Atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, anti-religionists and the like love to post on social media the scandals and crimes of clergymen and religious believers. By their actions, they are judgmental. They criticized Christians and religious believers for being judgmental towards others, but it seems that they do not practice what they preach. While religious leaders strive to discipline and guide its faithful, atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, anti-religionists and the like are entertained.
Atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, anti-religionists and the like do not believe in God. Yes, and they even hate and ridicule Him and the believers. However, it looks like they are more affected by Him, which is why they do not leave Him alone. It seems they always get negative energy from believers who are happy living their faith.
Yeah, atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, anti-religionists and the like love to criticize and judge people, whether they admit it or not. But when believers do the same to them, they cry foul. They begin to play the victim – without even recalling that they did the same too.
Yes, they criticize religious leaders, and instead of looking into their good works, they look on the scandals, even if religious leaders have admitted them and regretted about them. However, when others look into the scandals and crimes of their icons who don’t believe in God and those who criticize against the Church,… well, you know what they do.
Atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, anti-religionists and the like tend to be pro-same sex marriage, pro-gay rights,pro-abortion and pro-artifical birth control. They lambast those in opposition. Do they know that their gay rights and birth control icons are not clean people?
ReplyDeleteDo they know that Harvey Milk was a known pederast who raped or have intercourse with teenage boys? What about one gay teen icon who was said to be murdered for his sexuality? He was not killed for that: He was killed for drugs, as he was a known drug user too. What about that transgendered teen who was honored by gay rights activists? He/she was accussed of assaulting a girl in a restroom.
And what about Margaret Sanger, the patron saint of birth control? Do they know that she utilized birth control to commit adulterous affairs? Do they know that birth control was intended to kill black people and weak people? Why these people get angry too when they are shown pictures of aborted babies?
Tsk, tsk, tsk. Atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, anti-religionists and the like will never bother to know these things, and they go on to hit on religion, on people with faith.
These atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, and anti-religionists… never walking their talk. With their unbelief, they claim they are free… but also free to ridicule God and criticize believers. They want people to understand that God does not exist, but do not listen to explainations of His existence. Tsk, tsk, tsk. They are really affected.
