STILL the Neocatechumenical confusion of the REAL presence of Christ

Shared by Gerard:

From the website of the Redemptoris Mater Seminary, Perth Australia.

"The Tabernacle shows the Sacramental presence of Jesus in the Scriptures (Silver Bible) and the Eucharistic Species (Body of Christ)."

Sacramental presence of Christ in Sacred Scriture???

The Catechism teaches us :

1088: To accomplish so great a work" - the dispensation or communication of his work of salvation - "Christ is always present in his Church, especially in her liturgical celebrations. He is present in the Sacrifice of the Mass not only in the person of his minister, 'the same now offering, through the ministry of priests, who formerly offered himself on the cross,' but especially in the Eucharistic species. By his power he is present in the sacraments so that when anybody baptizes, it is really Christ himself who baptizes. He is present in his word since it is he himself who speaks when the holy Scriptures are read in the Church. Lastly, he is present when the Church prays and sings, for he has promised 'where two or three are gathered together in my name there am I in the midst of them.

The presence of Christ here in Scriptures being read, is not the same as the Holy Eucharist reserved in the Tabernacle.  The Catechism teaches:

1376 The Council of Trent summarizes the Catholic faith by declaring: "Because Christ our Redeemer said that it was truly his body that he was offering under the species of bread, it has always been the conviction of the Church of God, and this holy Council now declares again, that by the consecration of the bread and wine there takes place a change of the whole substance of the bread into the substance of the body of Christ our Lord and of the whole substance of the wine into the substance of his blood. This change the holy Catholic Church has fittingly and properly called transubstantiation."

1377 The Eucharistic presence of Christ begins at the moment of the consecration and endures as long as the Eucharistic species subsist. Christ is present whole and entire in each of the species and whole and entire in each of their parts, in such a way that the breaking of the bread does not divide Christ.

1378 Worship of the Eucharist. In the liturgy of the Mass we express our faith in the real presence of Christ under the species of bread and wine by, among other ways, genuflecting or bowing deeply as a sign of adoration of the Lord. "The Catholic Church has always offered and still offers to the sacrament of the Eucharist the cult of adoration, not only during Mass, but also outside of it, reserving the consecrated hosts with the utmost care, exposing them to the solemn veneration of the faithful, and carrying them in procession."

1379 The tabernacle was first intended for the reservation of the Eucharist in a worthy place so that it could be brought to the sick and those absent outside of Mass. As faith in the real presence of Christ in his Eucharist deepened, the Church became conscious of the meaning of silent adoration of the Lord present under the Eucharistic species. It is for this reason that the tabernacle should be located in an especially worthy place in the church and should be constructed in such a way that it emphasizes and manifests the truth of the real presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

1418: Because Christ himself is present in the sacrament of the altar, he is to be honored with the worship of adoration. "To visit the Blessed Sacrament is ... a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of adoration toward Christ our Lord."

Now, I dare the Neocatechumenal Way to cite Church teaching about the Sacramental presence of Christ in Sacred Scripture.  Does Christ's presence subsist and persist in Sacred Scripture even after Holy Mass?  Is the Book the same as the Bread?

The Bible is NOT EQUAL to the BLESSED SACRAMENT.

NEVAH!!!

The Bible is not equal to the Blessed Sacrament!!!

This is an interesting comment from this post of Bro.. Joe Yang.

***

Let me also add that in the Christian view, the "Word became flesh" not that the "Word became a book." [this is a good one! hahaha!] And that this Word became flesh has a name -- our Lord Jesus Christ, who Himself would give to us His own Body and Blood under the appearances of bread and wine entrusted to His Church. So that is the reason why we HAVE TO ADORE the Blessed Sacrament!

As for the Gospel Book, note that the Lord never transformed into any paper or codex. Instead, He, the Word, taught and sent His Apostles and commanded them to "teach all that I have commanded." And because of this solemn duty imposed on them by the Lord Himself, they preached His teachings verbally, and would later on write down some of these teachings as a heritage for all the nations and to form part of the authentic deposit of what He taught, together with Sacred Tradition. The words in the Gospel Book themselves are not completely the words of the Lord. And this is no disrespect when we say that the Bible is the word of God in the words of men... We are not Muslims or whacko fundamentalists who believe that God literally dictated each and every word of the Bible. A random survey of any Gospel book would immediately show you that such and such a Gospel is written "according to Luke" or by Matthew, or by John... Yes, the teachings therein form part of the authentic deposit of the Faith given to us by the Lord, but don't mistake the Book itself as being literal words of God!

Which brings us to the point of the stupidities (I cannot find a stronger word!) in our Catholic Churches of equating the Bible with the Blessed Sacrament. Yes, ecumenical councils do enthrone the Scriptures during their sessions but NOT side by side with the physical and sacramental presence of the Lord in the Eucharist. The Bible is for us, like the Crucifix. We show profound respect to it, we venerate it as a MEDIUM through which some of the Lord's teachings have come down to us. BUT IT IS NOT GOD NOR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. So kudos to you for writing about this and exposing this in your blog. I hope to see more of this in the future so that Catholics would begin to question this stupidities in their churches.

I can all point the blame to the LITURGISTS of the last decade or two.

Too much inculturation, conjuring the so-called "Spirit of Vatican II", to do whatever they want in the Holy Mass.

Since when is You equal to your picture or to your painting or to your selife?

When?

You as a person is You!  Your picture cannot be you.

It is just plain simple logic to use and you don't even have to be a Christian or a theologian at best to know that.

So why are the Kiko maniacs aka NeoCats putting the Book of the Gospels on top of the Tabernacle that contains Jesus Himself?  Any 4 grade kid who got solid Catholic catechism knows that!

But then!  Why?!  Why?! Why would you find this in the Jesuit School of Xavier Canlubang???

See that there?

The stained glass crucifix is in a position the same as that of the tabernacle....that little thing you see on the right side most of the sanctuary.

Ugly Modernist design, inspired by damnable Modernist theology!

They are Jesuits!  They are very intelligent men!  Brilliant theologians..and...and...and...

Oh...

They are Jesuits.

Bummer.

BISTADO KA!!!

From TimRohr himself. This proves how a big, fat, liar these cult members are!

The Neocatechumenal Way Cult Series 4

Today is the day Kiko will personally poison millions of Neo members.

While Manila will welcome him with open arms, it is worth noting that one Archbishop, the president of the Catholic Bishop's Conference himself, has imposed a MORATORIUM on The Way in his own Archdiocese.

THEREFORE, considering the foregoing facts and statutory principles, by virtue of my authority as Archbishop of Lingayen-Dagupan, in order to guide and reorient the Neocatechumenal Way in this archdiocese, I hereby impose a moratorium on all initial catecheses in the Neocatechumenal Way within the archdiocese until the Episcopal Delegate, named below, recommends the lifting of this moratorium. (To date, the moratorium is still in place)

No new communities shall be opened and no new members may be initiated into the Neocatechumenal Way within the moratorium period starting on the Solemnity of Pentecost this year until the Solemnity of Pentecost in 2011.

Likewise, I order the reading, within the whole year, starting from the Solemnity of Pentecost this year until the Solemnity of Pentecost in 2011, of paragraphs 748 to 945 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, pertaining to ecclesiology, the readings being spread out during the weekly celebrations of the Word of each Neocatechumenal community.

Moreover, I enjoin the recitation of the five mysteries of the Holy Rosary before the weekly celebration of the Word, starting on Pentecost Sunday, in adherence to the mandate of Article 14, number 4 of the Statutes;

In addition, effective today, I revoke the canonical mandate previously granted by the Archbishop of Lingayen-Dagupan to the incumbent itinerant catechist to teach the Catholic faith within this ecclesiastical jurisdiction.
Remember these words from Archbishop Villegas, make them known, share them to your friends following The Way.

The Neocatechumenal Way Cult Series 3

Carmen Hernandez, a former member of the Misioneras de Cristo Jesus,  is one of the founders of the Neo Cult, together with Kiko and Archbishop Annibale Bugnini.

Sa katunayan, silang tatlo ang naka-isip na pangalanganan ang grupo na Neocatechumenal Way.

It was her who made the following statements recorded in a book entitled Il neocatecumenato. Un’iniziazione cristiana per adulti
It is understandable why Luther emerged, making a clean break with everything he believed was a purely human addition or tradition . . .

Luther, who never doubted the real presence of Christ in the eucharist, rejected 'transubstantiation,' because it was bound to the Aristotelian-Thomistic concept of substance, which is foreign to the Church of the apostles and the Fathers . . .

The rigidity and fixity of the Council of Trent generated a static mentality in the liturgy, which has persisted to our day, quick to be scandalized by any change or transformation. And this is an error, because the liturgy is life, a reality of the Spirit living among men. For this reason, it can never be bottled up . .
Sa madaling salita, ayon kay Carmen TAMA SI LUTHER SA PAG-AAKLAS LABAN SA SIMBAHAN.

This is not a question on the Old Missal vs. the New Missal. That is a moot and academic discussion. Both Missals are valid and accepted.

It is rather a question of a The Way co-founder saying that Luther - an excommunicated priest, just like Marcel Lefebvre, was right, and had every right, to rebel against a true and valid council.

Ilan sa mga kabalintunaan ng kultong Neocatechumenal Way

Kabalintunaan. adjective meaning 'absurdity'

1. Kiko is supreme. He is next only after Jesus Christ Himself.  As seen above, this is classic Kiko mentality. That is why I call them Loony-cats.  They exalt Kiko and praise him to the highest heavens, even calling him a DOCTOR OF THEOLOGY when all he has is an honorary one.

This is #1 in the list on how to identify a cult.

Is having a stampita of yourself count?
Or designing the face of Christ like Kiko's face?

“By observing many icons or frescos by Kiko Argüello it’s impossible not to notice the detachment from the classical style of the Russian icons by which he says to be inspired. In particular, the curve of the superciliary arch, the deformation of the face (not oblong as in the “Arabian” style of the classical byzantine icons), and the cheeks that are not rounded but almost emaciated and covered by an uncommon, thin beard cannot but reminds us of the somatic traits of the very same Argüello who isn’t then diffident about ‘artistically’ identify his image with that of Christ.”

2. Pope Benedict XVI approved the NeoCat Mess.  This is a big, fat, LIE. The Holy See's approval of the Neocatechumenal Way's forms of 'celebration' only applies to non-liturgical prayers within their catechesis and not the Mass or other liturgies of the Church.

3.   Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle himself invited Kiko Arguello to Manila. Another big, fat, LIE.

Fr. Jun Sescon, Chancellor of the Archdiocese supposedly confirms that the Cardinal DID invite Kiko, as claimed by many Lony-cats (see below) but there is proof which says OTHERWISE.

The Loony-cats will do anything and everything to beef up their image, even to the point of putting words in the Cardinal's mouth.

The Neocatechumenal Way Cult Series 2

Nakita niyo itong video noong nakaraang lingo. Normal na kaganapan ito sa mga Neo Mass.

Below is the description of how it is done.
The consecrated bread – a large unleavened loaf, two thirds white flour and one third whole wheat flour, prepared and baked according to detailed rules established by Kiko – is broken and distributed to those present, who remain in their places. After the distribution, it is eaten at the same time by all, including the priest. After this, the priest goes from one person to the next with the chalice of consecrated wine, which everyone drinks.
Hindi ko lubos maisip bakit sa kina-uupuan dapat tanggapin ang katawan ni Kristo. Kita mo naman yung mag-asawa, nagdadaldalan pa habang tinatapos ang distribution ng communion!

The faithful, receiving Communion first is what is popularly known as servant model.  Pero MALI ito. MALING-MALI.

Bakit?
The priest receives first, not because of a human protocol but in virtue of the dignity and nature of his ministry. He acts in the person of Christ, for the purpose of the integrity of the sacrament and for presiding the people gathered together: "Thus when priests join in the act of Christ the Priest, they offer themselves entirely to God, and when they are nourished with the body of Christ they profoundly share in the love of him who gives himself as food to the faithful (Presbyterorum Ordinis, No. 13)

The Neo Mass waters down the doctrine on the real presence of the Lord in the Eucharist, and is a departure from Tradition.

Dahil lang sa gusto maging SIKAT at IBA ni Kiko.

BREAKING NEWS : Loony-Cats to EVANGELIZE THE PHILIPPINES!

The Loony-cats INVITED THEMSELVES to Manila on 6 June.

They claim that it was Cardinal Tagle who invited them to come to Manila!  THIS IS A BIG, FAT LIE!

But they insist on this lie and even use THE CHANCELLOR who is into Mass ad-lib. According to the big, fat liars, Fr. Sescon confirmed that the Cardinal DID invite the Loony-cats. Is Fr. Sescon also ad-libing this? Becuse there IS proof against this.

The Loony-cats will converge at the El Shaddai rainbow 'church' south of Manila and listen to self-proclaimed Messiah Kiko.

Kiko will surely lecture his cult members like the way he lectured Pope Francis himself. The nerve!

Kiko and his Loony-cats will EVANGELIZE MANILA!

Will they evangelize from their rooms at Makati Shangri-La Hotel?

The Neocatechumenal Way Cult Series 1

A blog reader sent this image of a Neocatechumenal Tabernacle.

This tabernacle found in their headquarters, the Domus Galilaeae, is composed of two portions, the Book of the Gospels above and the Consecrated Hosts, the Body of our Lord, below.

This set-up is in itself very protestant.

As Catholics, we worship the Lord Jesus Christ who is "truly, really, and substantially present - body, blood, soul and divinity" under the form of bread (and wine). We do not worship the Book of the Gospels. Jesus is not in the book. He is present when the Gospel is proclaimed.

This is Kiko's doing. What he teaches is heresey!

And he is coming to Manila this month. Isang malaking pagtitipon sa June 6,

Keep away from this cult!

A CULT IN MANILA

In a few weeks, another self-proclaimed Messiah will descend and plague the country, and it is no other than KIKO ARGUELLO, founder of the Neocatechumenal Way.

The Neocatechumenal Way which teaches that there is no purgatory.

“For the person who believes in Jesus Christ, death is like falling asleep. You go to bed and you fall asleep without knowing when. That is how you will die, like falling asleep. That is why the Church calls the dead “those who have fallen asleep in the Lord.”  You die as if you are falling asleep and you awake in the resurrection.  In an instant you pass from this world to glory, whether or not millions of years have gone by.  This is why we Christians do not weep for our dead as the pagans do, for our brothers and sisters who die are alive.”  (p. 277, Neocatechumenal Way’s Catechetical Directory)

The Neocatechumenal Way which distributes Holy Communion this way.

Or if this doesn't play, see here
