These has happened a couple of times simply because the priest does not want to have black cassocks for their altar servers.
And SILK! For cryin' out loud!
are there any reasons why some priests don't want their altar servers using black cassocks?

2. they simply don't know and act like they do know things.
some will even say, "mas mukha pa silang pari." (they will look like priests).

it is a form of narcissism to those priests who hates the proper vestments of the acolytes.

ReplyDeleteIf theory number 1 is true, why shouldn't they love too traditional. Ang ganda nga ng too traditional eh or even just right traditional.
About theory 2, hindi ba tinuturo iyan sa seminaries? The proper way to dress up the clergy, the altar boys and all persons who have a role in serving and or offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass?
