Here is the Google Map of the location of the monastery.

Lots of circles here. Let's look at it one by one.

Upper right is the Papal apartment where the pope is currently residing.

Lower right is the Holy Office where the CDF is and where Papa Benny spent much of his time in Rome.

Upper left is the site of the monastery where he would eventually retire and next to that, at the extreme left corner of the photo, where you see a steel tower is where Vatican Radio is.

That long building at the back of St. Peter's is the office of the Vatican Governorate or more formally known as Pontifical Commission for Vatican City State.

Ah, Rome!
