And they went out to crucify him...

St. Vincent School of Theology Chapel
Crucified without a cross?

It is called crucifixion because you nail the condemned person to a cross until he dies.

So where is the cross?

Are these people so blood-thirsty they just nailed HIM to a wall?

Funny how Evangelicals hate having a corpus for their crucifix...

....while these Modernist priests called Vincentians of SVST hate the cross.

For as St. Paul says:

"For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1Cor 1:18)

PS:

Have you noticed the altar?

Here is the close-up.

Looks like it either came from the workshop of the Green Lantern or is an overgrowth from the Fortress of Solitude

Anything but traditional!

I am pretty sure this was not consecrated.

The Vincentians don't care!

  1. what a mess made by those modernists!!!
The Cross is the symbol of Christianity and more preferably it must have a corpus...
maybe Those people in that school of theology doesn't know the GRIM and the rubrics.
That is not a crucifix, it is a wallcifix and Our Lord was not nailed on the a wall he was nailed in a wooden cross...wew unbiblical architecture!
I wonder why maybe this could be a reason why Pope Benedict XVI have no plans made to visit our Country and why he chose Cebu as a venue for the Int'l Eucharistic Congress.

  2. I will look on the bright side. It's not as bad as the "Gnostic" crucifix in one of the chapels of De La Salle! The worshipers at least at SVST can imagine what the English call a rood!
