Today is the Feast of St. Isidore
Patron of farmers of which majority of Filipinos are or belong to a farming family or community.
His wife, Maria Torribia, is also a canonized saint.
Both are laymen.
May they be our models for dedication to work and to remain holy according to our own calling and state of life.
The Pahiyas Festival of Lucban, Quezon is a uniquely Filipino feast in his honor.
