How the Archdiocese of Manila treats one of her priests

Msgr. Melecio de Vera, who died recently was a priest of the Catholic Church in good standing and incardinated to the Archdiocese of Manila.  This means that his immediate superior is the Archbishop of Manila.

I frequently visit the website of the Archdiocese to see the latest.

Ever since the late Cardinal Jaime Sin resigned his post as Archbishop, it seemed that the website features nothing but mostly...(hold on to your seats) LITURGICAL NEWS, from you-know-who...

NO!  Not Humpty-Dumpty!  The other one!  The Master and the Padawan.  That one!

But the real point of this post is about Msgr. de Vera.

He died a priest of Jesus Christ.  He died in communion with Holy Mother Church.  He died still incardinated with the Archdiocese of Manila.

Then..WHY OH WHY is his name NOT FOUND ON THE OBITUARY OF THE RCAM's WEBSITE?

Is the Archdiocese being too picky on whose death to announce?

A PIME priest, who is not a diocesan priest of the Archdiocese, who died recently had his obituary posted in the website.

THEN, WHY OH WHY, tell me dear brothers and sisters is the obituary of our former parish priest NEVER TO BE FOUND IN THE WEBSITE?

Call me "Dan Brownish" but I can sense that...Was it because the monsignor celebrated TLM till his dying breath?

Just wondering...again!
