The creed below is HIGHLY LIKELY professed by these dissidents and those who want a so-called "Vatican II Church".
It is their UPDATED Nicene Creed because the latter one is too medieval and needs a lot of updating to keep up with the signs of the times and more appealing and politically correct.

The Nicene Creed | The "New Pentecost" Creed |
---|---|
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. | I guess there is one God, but who really knows? The Father, or maybe Mother, Almighty Maker of Heaven and Earth, possibly through evolution and of all things visible and invisible, except demons because that's a bunch of medieval superstition |
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. | and in Jesus Christ, Prophet, Avatar and Lord to some. He was a Son of God somehow outside the realm of time, Being from Being Likely the same as the other Being And through him all things were made to reach an Omega Point For us and for our self-actualization He appeared on earth and by another part of the Being was born by a woman whose feast days annoy us and became one of us. For his passive resistance to the enemies of justice and peace, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate suffered, died and was buried. He may have risen from the dead after three days, but all that matters is that his spirit lives on within us His spirit is also in Heaven with all the other divinities and he will come again in us as we become him through preferential option for the poor only he can judge, so we cannot judge anything but he won't condemn us, because he understands |
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen | I believe in the spiritual life that comes from our connectedness with the divine, and he speaks through the prophets, especially those unfairly silenced by the all-male discrimination machine in Rome and I believe in the Holy Catholic Church as one of many ways of salvation and self-realization and I forgive myself and others of all sins, except American Imperialism and I look for our resurrection and new life, as we evolve and grow. And we will have a new world, that we create, because we are the Church. Amen. |
In many forms, this New Pentecost Creed can be seen on TV, heard on radio, read in printed material and is spread in seminaries and parishes all around the country, unabated!
Heed St. Paul's warning and advice to the Galatians:
- But there are some who are disturbing you and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ.
- But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach (to you) a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed! But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach (to you) a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed! As we have said before, and now I say again, if anyone preaches to you a gospel other than the one that you received, let that one be accursed!
Well as I have commented before, the most Catholic of professors at Maryhill was none other than our good friend in the Anglican Use Chapter Fr Joe Frary of the Episcopal Church of the Philippines! He has long retired from teaching there, but he deserves that accolade!
