from the official twitter account of the Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office.
Was caught with this caption:
Earlier, during homily, in the spirit of Sec. Robredo, priest stood away from the pulpit, closer to the people.
Most probably the one who wrote the caption did not know that some priests usually do this, which is liturgically incorrect.
Grbe namn bkit parang ang colorful ng Liturgical Vestments ngayon di ko 2loy alam kung ADVENT, OT o may Fiest ngayon?! :/

ReplyDeleteTPC, do you know where this church is? The reason why I asked is because I've been searching for that kind of crucifix (I'm referring to the big crucifix on the picture).
When I was a kid, I've been attending the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at St. Thomas More Chapel aka Ateneo Chapel near Robinsons Manila in the 80s. The moment I heard that the chapel has been demolished to give way to business development I was quite sad and was wondering what happened to the crucifix and other parts of that chapel. I'm guessing that not all of them were disposed and are being used in other churches run by the Jesuits. Now I'm wondering is that church being run by a Jesuit? Whether it's a yes or a no, I wanted to know what and where is that Church? I wanted to visit it and look at the crucifix as it reminds me of my childhood. Thank you.
That crucifix is in the chapel of La Salle Greenhills.
