BUT! BUT!
The 16th century version that the CBCP ordered to be used, in obedience to the new English translation of the Roman Missal, is the same version that Lutherans are using, the same translation used in the Book of Common Prayers!

HE IS AN HONORARY LUTHERAN AND HE DOES NOT WANT THE "OUR FATHER" LUTHERANS ARE USING?!?!
And I thought he was for an ecumenical liturgy?!?!

The one CBCP is asking us to use is really from the 1928 American Book of Common Prayer. The US 1928 BCP is the most Catholic of the Anglican prayer books since it traces its origin from the Scottish Prayer book. This was influenced by the Catholic sentiments of Archbishop William Laud of Canterbury.
