To: Dearest Parish Priests, Parish Pastoral Council Brethren and Pro-life lay/ Organizations in Metro Manila.
Greetings of Peace and Life!
As many of us are now aware, the debates on HB 4244 (RH Bill) have started in Batasan, and we are at the start of a challenging and long drawn debate.
Many of us are ardently praying for the succes of the pro-life congressmen in defeating the bill and also many have started to become more active in bringing the arguments against the RH bill to their parish churches and lay organizations. This is very encouraging but NOT enough: Veritas Radio (which we must always tune in to) and internet helps A LOT but still lacking, WHY?
we are not supported by the secular media in programs/ information and news.our supporters and those who are not sure about issues must have 100% awareness of events unfolding.
The appeal is for all to do MUCH MORE by being where the ACTION is!
help share the burden of having committed pro-lifers attend the Batasan debates, 3-7 PM every Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting next week.
The RH gallery is well funded and always full giving the impression that they have many supporters even as they are repeatedly just the same crowd. The pro-life gallery, on the other hand, is almost empty, with only few well-meaning pro-lifers in attendance.
Our presence in the gallery will boost the morale of our allies in congress and the fence sitters maybe encouraged to jump to our side. The congressmen of the majority party, seeing our great numbers, may also be encouraged to cross party lines.
In this light, we request that you organize your parishioners, members and constituents to troop to congress. We need to spread out our schedule. Please sign up now. Attached is the schedule table.Coordinate with Pro-Life Philippines at landline 733-70-27 or 734-94-25 (look for Lorna). Also you can reach us via email life@prolife.org.ph and advise us your intended date. We need at least 300 guests to fill up the gallery.
Please Note: Sessions start at 4PM but lining up at the gate begins at 3PM. Be in white, blue or red. When asked, say you are guests of Buhay Party List of Cong. Michael Velarde or Cong. Irwin Tieng. Parking is limited. No drinks & food allowed.
We pray to our Mother Mary, the Queen of LIFE that all of us are blessed with the desire for a Pro-Life VICTORY.
In Christ Jesus,

Presbyterian Church ordains first openly homosexual man to presbyterate
Yup. They followed the trend of the Episcopalian Church. And boy, (no pun intended.) are they happily shrinking in numbers! And most of those disenchanted are crossing the Tiber!
The man, Scott Anderson, 56, said he waited 40 years for the moment...the moment they made the laws of God their own whim? Right MST? That is the way you wanted it right?
Ain't that the most appropriate color for a stole? RAINBOW BRITE! He waited 40 years to wear that.
The report says:
Ok, I am not saying that ALL Catholic priests are without fault but by golly, if a married man is openly cavorting with another woman other than his wife, that is a different story! What happened to what Christ taught in the Gospel?!
Well, we had Anglicanorum coetibus. What's next Prebyterorum coetibus? :D

The report says:
"The denomination barred homosexuals from serving as ministers until May 10, 2011, when a majority of its regional organizations known as presbyteries voted to ratify the national assembly’s proposal to remove clergy requirements of marital fidelity or single chastity."So, any philanderer and sodomite can be their presbyter?

First US Episcopalian parish received into the Catholic Church!
That is Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington anointing the Rev. Mark Lewis, the former rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Parish in Bladensburg, Maryland during his Confirmation and members of his parish at the Crypt of the National Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
He came in last symbolic of his role as shepherd of the community. "A good shepherd must be sure his flock gets through the gate" he said.
“We considered ourselves a Catholic parish to begin with,” said Lewis, the former pastor. “We aligned ourselves much more closely with Catholic theology than Protestant theology. If you really weren’t a student of religion, you would say nothing has really changed. What’s taking place is internal. Becoming Roman Catholic was a natural progression of our faith.”
One interesting note is that at the basilica, the parishioners stood to receive Holy Communion which is unusual for them since at St. Luke’s, they usually receive kneeling.
Yup, you are right Doc Ben. Sometimes, those who are not Catholics are MORE CATHOLICS than those who call themselves Catholics.
RH Catholics come into mind? How about Catholic priests who HATE parishioners kneeling for Communion and receiving only on the tongue?
SARS! Yeah, you wish. There's no more health scare, WHY NOT STOP COMMUNION IN THE HAND?!?!
But I digress. But still it was worth it, eh?
And if you ask the theologians at MST, SVST and Euntes...
Nah! You don't need that! You can be saved in any creed you want to believe in. As in ANY! As long as you love one another and save Mother Earth. Huwah!

GULP Alert: What is going on here?
The Catholicity of Euntes of Zamboanga is sooooo....inculturated?
And here, which looks like a writing session of sorts or something. Makes you feel like you are in pre-school again. Ha!
It is a concelebrated Mass!!!! Look at the man in pink shirt with a white overlay stole!
And they are singing "Making Melodies"?!?!?!?!?!
What is going on here?!?!
Here is the infamous Missionary of Jesus Fr. Percy Bacani, who conducted an "Avatar Mass", yup I had to wash my hands with hand sanitizer just for typing those two words, now leading what seems to be a Mass, considering that there is an altar, covered with a plain white cloth that can be used later as chasuble, one teenie weeny candle on it, and he is wearing a white overlay stole over his secular clothing, which, uhm, obviously are all liturgical abuses identified by Redemptionis Sacramentum.

Archbishop of Davao says no to SSPX Rosary Crusade...
Wha?
***
From UCANews
AN invitation by the Society of St. Pius X to clergy and lay people to attend their celebration of the feast of the solemnity of the Most Holy Rosary on Friday was rejected by the Archdiocese of Davao.
Father Thomas Onoda, the head of the international Catholic traditionalist organization in the Philippines, had announced that all who wanted to join could gather in liturgy last weekend.
Archbishop Fernando Capalla of Davao rejected the group’s invitation, and advised Catholics against joining.
“As long as the society does not have canonical status in the Church, its ministers do not exercise legitimate ministries in the Church,” he said, quoting Pope Benedict XVI’s 2009 letter regarding the organization.
“For this reason our Catholics – priests, Religious and laity – are hereby advised not to participate in any ministry – liturgical celebration, teaching and community – of the Society of St. Pius X,” the prelate said.

Just to pray the Rosary?!?! The CBCP even prayed with the SSPX for the defense of life. We saw a lot of YouTube videos about this. Countless bishops sat with Fr. Onoda and delivered their message of support for the Rosary Crusade.
I have heard stories of how the SSPX "crashed" a seminar about the TLM in Davao and this might have cause the Archbishop to turn down the invite. And I think it might be justified...
But....but....but...
Will the same treatment be given to the likes of the INC who say nothing but filth against the Pope, the Church and the laity?
Hell, they even ridicule the Lord Jesus for calling him a mere man!
Just asking!

Confused?
I have blogged about this in the past and here it is again.
The Cardinal Archbishop and the deacons of the Mass including the concelebrants of the Ordination Mass recently held in the Cathedral Basilica in Manila are facing the nave while the faithful in attendance and the deacons being ordained who lie prostrate (which is stupidly referred to by anti-Catholics as "planking", ugh!) are all facing the high altar and the Tabernacle where the Eucharistic Lord is.
Before it was only the Cardinal and the deacons of the Mass who faced the nave and the concelebrating.
And in another confusing photo, here is a non-traditional way for the newly ordained to impart their first blessings.
Compare it with this one.
Take note that the two other bishops attended "in choir". I guess they might have placed a stole over their choir dress during the actual ordination rite and took it off right after. As a matter of fact, not all of the ordained, priest or deacon have to attend and be "part" of the Mass as concelebrant or an assisting deacon.
But I digress.
Your thoughts on this one from RCAM again, please.
On a related note, let us welcome the new priests of the Archdiocese of Manila!
Harvest souls for the Lord!

Adult Male Altar Servers anyone?
What do you say about this?
Let me read your comments before I post mine.
I think you have an inkling of what I will say.
I will reserve this for the week.
By the way, this is the Adult Altar Servers of the Imus Cathedral of, yep!, our favorite bishop here at TPC.
The photo came from their Facebook group page.
Firefox problem
I have been a loyal user of Firefox for a long time until last week.
Firefox has this somewhat "hiccup" whenever I try to edit or post something.
Is this happening to you?
In the meantime, I am enjoying Google Chrome.

I am back!
Some of you might be wondering for the long hiatus from blogging.
The truth of the matter is, I was on retreat in Tagaytay.
Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and for praying for me.
I reciprocated.
