The lies of Freemasonry

The video says that Freemasonry is not a religion. It only teaches and helps good men become better. 

Oh really?

Not a religion yet they call their buildings TEMPLES.

I am a Catholic and my Church teaches me to be good and holy.  So Freemasonry can do a better job?

The former chief justice says that Freemasonry helped him a lot especially in his career in the judiciary.

But of course!

Masons only help their own.

That's what this"brotherhood" is all about.

Just a reminder once again.

1). The Holy See on Nov. 26, 1983, issued “Declaration on Masonic Associations” reaffirming the Church’s position condemning Freemasonry. It also reminds that Catholics who join Masonic organizations are in a state of grave sin and are automatically to be denied reception of Holy Communion.  Hey!  Cardinal Kasper!

2). God as described in Masonic writings is an impersonal “Great Architect of the Universe,” not the personal God of the Patriarchs, the One True God of Revelation, the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.  The Masonic God is a god of Deism. They believe that God exists but their god does not meddle in the affairs of man.  Remember how the Greek gods of Olympus behaved according to the tales?

3). Masonic writings were very clear to state that God has NOT revealed Himself nor His truths to us, nor that He ever established a Church.  This is the reason why Masons are anti religion and anti Church.  They were the ones behind the series of attacks against the Catholic Church during the war on the Reproductive Health Law

4). For Mason, Jesus Christ is merely a man, a great teacher, equal with Buddha or Mohammed.  Masons do not believe that He is God.   Equality and respect for religions, eh? That's what Masonry teaches so much so that it puts all religions and all religious deities on one equal plane/

5). Since all religions are equal, not one single religion possesses the truth and that all truth is relative according to Masonry.  They reject objective, absolute truth and believe that a personal enlightenment is important.  So where does that put the dogmas of the Catholic faith? Dumpster. Don't you see that this is all the work of Modernism?

6). Therefore, Freemasonry is promoted as the foundation of all religions.  Freemasonry is in FACT a religion of Naturalism, a system of belief that makes human nature and human reason supreme in all things.

7). The initiation ritual of Freemasonry describes an initiate as one who is in darkness and seeks the light.  And that light can only be found in the Lodge.  A Catholic who is baptized and confirmed cannot be described as someone in darkness.  But for Freemasonry, any person who has not learned the teachings of the Lodge is lost and in darkness. Can that be compatible with Christianity in general and with Catholicism in particular?

Therefore, the ultimate goal of Freemasonry is to lead a Catholic away from God’s grace especially manifested in the Sacraments instituted by Christ through His Church. Masonry denies Christ’s Divinity and therefore His role as our Savior and His Church's work of continuing His mission on earth.

Zamboanga City Mayor Isabelle Climaco-Salazar on Monday night made the rounds of evacuation centers sheltering constituents who fled from the gun battles between government troops and the Moro National Liberation Front.

Among the evacuation centers Climaco visited was the Western Mindanao State University gymnasium, where many of the victims of the crisis were brought.

The gym, aside from being an evacuation center, was also designated a Satellite Emergency Hospital.

Climaco then proceeded to the Zamboanga Grandstand to check the situation of more than 1,000 evacuees.

The city government and volunteers provided the refugees with food during their stay at the grandstand.

Zamboanga City residents were forced to flee their homes due to the gun battles between the government and the MNLF. At least six people have been killed in the clashes.

The mayor earlier imposed a curfew over the city, in the wake of a standoff between the opposing forces, virtually shutting down Zamboanga City.

Catholic churches in Zamboanga City on Monday opened their doors to people fleeing the clashes between government troops and the Moro National Liberation Front.

Zamboanga Archdiocese administrator Msgr. Crisologo Manongas [because there is still no archbishop.] said the churches in the archdiocese welcomed all evacuees be they Christian or Muslim.

Manongas added there was no reason for Muslim evacuees to be denied accommodation since all civilians reject the ongoing conflict.

“This is not a religious conflict. This is a political conflict. There’s no animosity between Muslims and Christians. We have a good relationship with Muslim religious leaders,” Manongas said.

The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines said Zamboanga church officials condemned the violence and called for an end to the fighting.

"We appeal to the MNLF leadership not to involve the innocent civilians in their political demands. Negotiations with arms will not resolve anything. We are appealing to them to lay down their arms," said Manongas.

The Zamboanga Archdiocese administrator was outraged over the violence since civilians, especially children, were among the most affected by the fighting. — DVM, GMA News

VATICAN CITY (RNS) When some American Catholics worry that the hierarchy is tilting toward the Republican Party, or taking the church back to the 19th century (or earlier), they often point to Cardinal Raymond Burke as Exhibit A.  [Anyone who is not the conventional or in this case, someone who would trifle their "right to be a brat" whining, expect the liberal Democrats to look someone from the Catholic Church....the conservatives that is.  Forget, Cardinal Roger Mahony.  He is a Democrat.  Ha!]

That's understandable, because love him or loathe him -- and few are on the fence -- Burke's many pronouncements on politics and the culture wars have given both fans and critics plenty of ammunition for their respective views.

Back when he was archbishop of St. Louis in 2004, for instance, Burke touched off a fierce debate by declaring that Catholic politicians such as John Kerry who support abortion rights should be denied Communion. Voters who supported them were in grave peril too, he added.  [Burke knows what he is talking about!  He is a canon lawyer!]

Burke doubled down on those views after Pope Benedict XVI appointed him to a top Vatican job in 2008, saying that under President Obama the Democratic party "risks transforming itself definitively into a 'party of death'." [Isn't it?] In 2009, Burke fueled another controversy when he said that the late Sen. Edward Kennedy should have been denied a church funeral for his support of abortion rights and gay rights.  [RIGHT!]

"They can't say anything about me that would surprise me," Burke said with a soft laugh when asked in a recent interview about the passionate reactions sparked by his public stands.

"To be honest with you, I'm the sort of person who would be very happy not to have to speak out. I'm not a person who by nature likes to do that. But I believe it's my obligation," [Do most of our priests and bishops know what those words mean?  Or being politically correct or ecumenical to the point of being relative is more important nowadays, huh?] said Burke, who is always affable and remains accessible to the media. "It's a responsibility that's been given to me. I try to do it, though certainly not perfectly."

The 63-year-old prelate -- in his workaday attire of black cassock with red piping and a scarlet sash with matching skullcap -- was speaking in his gilded offices on the upper floors of the 16th century Palazzo della Cancelleria, one of the most famous Renaissance palaces in Rome that now houses the Catholic Church's highest court.

The Apostolic Signatura handles canon law cases from around the world, from marriage annulments to parish closings; since 2008 Burke has effectively served as the chief justice of the church's supreme court. It's a platform that he has used to great effect -- and to the consternation of his critics.

Indeed, when Burke was called to Rome after just four tumultuous years in St. Louis, many suggested that he was getting "kicked upstairs" in order to get him out of the U.S. spotlight. A case of "promuovere per rimuovere," as the Italians say -- to remove through promotion.  [How I wish this happens to one guy!  And he ends up in an obscure Vatican dicastery where he cannot be seen on Tv anymore.  Try guessing.  Ha!]

But if that was the plan, it hasn't worked out so well.

In his four years in Rome, Burke has continued to speak his mind -- he is a favorite on the conservative Catholic speaking circuit in the U.S. -- while also becoming a player in Vatican politics in ways that extend his influence well beyond the occasional rhetorical broadside.

Benedict elevated Burke to cardinal in 2010, giving him a vote in a conclave that would elect the pontiff's successor, [no mention that he can become pope too?  Hmm...] and put him on the Congregation for Bishops, the Vatican body that vets candidates for bishops in the U.S. and around the world. [One name slipped his watch, though.  Ugh!] That gives Burke a key role in shaping the hierarchy for years to come, which he seems to be doing.

Vatican observers saw Burke's hand in the 2011 promotion of Archbishop Charles Chaput, whose conservatism closely tracks Burke's, from Denver to Philadelphia. And they say Burke was key in Oakland Bishop Salvatore Cordileone's recent move to San Francisco.  [Can we all say "Deo gratias!"?]

Blogger Rocco Palmo dubbed Cordileone's promotion the "Bombshell by the Bay" -- Cordileone is an outspoken conservative and leading supporter of California's Prop 8 banning gay marriage, and will now be archbishop of the nation's gay mecca. But he's also a longtime friend of Burke.

No wonder longtime Vaticanista Marco Tosatti anointed Burke as "the'great puppeteer' of American appointees" to the U.S. hierarchy.  [If that is the kind of puppeteer, then heck I will be a puppet!  Strap me up! Ha!]

Burke was also believed to be one of the instigators of the controversial Vatican crackdown on a major group of American nuns, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, who Rome viewed as straying too far from orthodoxy and spending too much time on social justice issues.

In the interview, the cardinal acknowledged that he was consulted about the LCWR takeover, but he argued that it was "logical" to seek his input given his long experience in the U.S. church. He also reiterated his view that the Vatican had every right to undertake the investigation, even as he stressed that he was not involved in carrying out the actual overhaul.

Burke said his opinion "is certainly heard" on a range of matters at the highest level of the Vatican, even if his views are not always followed. "I don't have any pretenses about being some powerful figure, no," he added. "But it is heard, and respectfully."

The cardinal also said that many American bishops naturally turn to him as "a friendly contact" in Rome who can advise them "on matters large and small," and that he tries to convey those views to his colleagues in the Vatican bureaucracy.

Yet whatever his success since coming to Rome, Burke's rise hasn't been without its stumbles.

Another of his U.S. proteges, Bishop Robert Finn of Missouri, was found guilty in September of covering up for a priest suspected of child abuse -- the first bishop ever convicted in the long history of the clergy abuse scandal. When asked to comment about Finn at a September meeting with journalists, Burke demurred. "It wouldn't be proper," he said.

Burke is also a leading advocate of a restoration of the church's older rites and traditions, like the Latin Mass, which he argues were heedlessly cast aside in the liberal "euphoria" after the reforms of the Second Vatican Council in the 1960s.  [Liberal euphoria, love the term!  Like Hippie Revolution!  No wonder we had "Jesus Christ: Superstar". Aquarius!!!!]

But Burke has been celebrating so many old-style liturgies and donning the most ornate regalia -- long trains of watered silk, velvet gloves and elaborate brocades -- that several Vatican officials said he had been asked to "tone it down a bit."  [Did they ask Archbishop Piero Marini to tone down his theatrical Masses during JP2's time?  Nah.  But when it is something traditional, expect the inculturated maniacs to throw a hissy fit.]

Whether he will is another matter.

"The vestments, everything, are part of a tradition," Burke says in his defense. "We need to understand that and not just discard it and say, well, it was all just an ugly accretion."  [If anything old must be discarded......then away with those nutty old inculturated liturgists!!  Ha!  Cybercrime this dude!]

Burke also got into hot water in 2009 when he taped an interview for anti-abortion activist Randall Terry in which he chided his fellow bishops for not taking a harder line in denying Communion to pro-choice politicians or those who support gay marriage. Those bishops, he said, are "weakening the faith of everyone."  [Saying like it is!  Really love this cardinal!  My predictions of him being a cardinal under Pope Benedict XVI were right, y'all!]

Burke later apologized, but he has continued to press fellow bishops to speak out as strongly as he does. "If the shepherd isn't obedient, the flock easily gives way to confusion and error," he said during a 2010 speech to an anti-abortion group.

For Burke, the risks are too high to remain on the sidelines. Obama's presidency and the advancement of issues like gay marriage and abortion rights have made it imperative for Catholic bishops to speak up, he says, though he realizes that the president is ahead in the polls and could well win. "I don't know what would happen if that would be the case," he said, shaking his head.

But he said he has been encouraged that a growing number of bishops appear to be joining the campaign for religious freedom that has targeted White House policies on contraception coverage, because he believes that Christians in the U.S. could well face direct governmental persecution for their beliefs.

"These are definitive moments and the stakes are as high as you can get," Burke says. "That really pleases me, that more bishops are speaking out on their own."

In the end, that kind of activism by the bishops he helps appoint may be Raymond Burke's true legacy.

That guy up there is Knight Templar, a member of the Order of the Knights Templar.  (Ha!)  equal in right a dignity to the highest degree of the Scottisch Rite's 33rd degree.

Michael Joseph McGivney.  Bro. Bill then founded the Order of Alhambra, which is a counter to the Masonic Order of Shiners.  Look at the picture above an look for the guy standing below the arch, the one wearing a fez.

Fr. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus to encourage Catholic men to form a fraternity to support one another and to keep them away from the Masonic Association, which endangers a Catholic man's eternal salvation.

No "Ecumenical Prayer" at Assisi

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Benedict XVI has invited Hindus, Jews, Taoists and Muslims to join him next week for a peace pilgrimage to the hilltop town of Assisi — but they won't pray together because Benedict doesn't want to show different beliefs and rituals mixing.  [And I think that this is the right way to go.  You do not pray with pagans and heathens!]

The Oct. 27 event marks the 25th anniversary of the first such interreligious prayer for peace, which was promoted by Pope John Paul II and held in the town known for its native son St. Francis.

Benedict, then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, didn't attend that first 1986 meeting and later criticized it as an example of religious relativism — the idea that there are no absolute truths and that all religions are somehow equal — [Ask some of priests and sisters and they will tell you that it is a harmless thing to have an ecumenical prayer service.  And if you say anything to the contrary or will not be amenable to holding such a service, be sure to be labelled a zealot!  This cannot be done by a Catholic.  The god of Islam and Buddhism is NOT and WILL NEVER BE ON THE SAME LEVEL as the God of Catholics, because JESUS CHRIST, true God and true Man, is the GOD of CATHOLICS]

In 2000, when he was head of the Vatican's doctrine office, Ratzinger issued a controversial document in part as a response to the Assisi meeting, which suggested the fullness of human salvation was found in the Catholic Church alone.  [Does not only suggest but explicitly says so.]

Now Benedict is presiding over his first Assisi interreligious gathering, and the decision to eliminate the common, public prayer is being seen as his way of further correcting the wrongs from the 1986 event, which was repeated in 2002, albeit with changes.

Vatican officials outlined the day's schedule Tuesday and released the guest list, which includes a record 300-plus delegates representing dozens of faiths — and even four people who profess no faith, a new feature this year.

Some of the big names include Rajhmoon Gandhi, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, who will head a Hindu delegation; the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams; a delegation from Israel's rabbinate authority; a Bahai, a Zoroastrian, three Jains, five Sikhs, and a Yoruba.

The Dalai Lama had a scheduling conflict and is sending an envoy, and Russia's Orthodox Church — with which the Vatican is trying to improve ties — is dispatching a representative from Kazakhstan. For the first time, a Buddhist from mainland China is coming.

Some 48 Muslims are expected, but none from Cairo's Al-Azhar institute, the pre-eminent school of Islamic learning in the Sunni Muslim world, which cut ties with the Vatican over Benedict's call for Christians to be better protected in Egypt.  [You issue a call to protect Christians being persecuted in a Muslim land, and the Muslim "school" protests!  Geez!]

The delegates will travel together with the pope aboard a train leaving from the Vatican's train station and will sit together for speeches in Assisi's St. Mary of the Angels basilica. They'll have a "spare" lunch together — obviously heavily vegetarian — and then they will go to pray privately, separately in rooms of an Assisi convent.

They'll come back together for a wrap-up session and light candles as symbols of peace.
Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, head of the Vatican's justice and peace office, confirmed that the "novelty" of this year's agenda is that there is no common, public prayer for peace as there had been in previous Assisi encounters.

"The emphasis is on the pilgrimage, not on the common prayer," he said. But he denied the change represented any negative judgment on past meetings, saying it was merely "a way to try to improve the character itself of inviting exponents of other faiths together."

"It's an exercise of dialogue, and dialogue always respects the specific identity of the people, of individuals," he told reporters.

Traditionalist Catholics, in particular, were horrified at some of the images broadcast from the 1986 event, where non-Christians were seen praying in Catholic churches and in one, a small statue of a Buddha was reportedly placed on an altar.  [others are saying that it is on top of a tabernacle!]

Turkson said he had received e-mails from concerned Catholics, including one promising that the sender would celebrate 1,000 Masses of reparation for the harm done in Assisi.

To counter the criticism that the pope was hosting yet another Assisi gathering, the Vatican newspaper has for months been featuring essays by top Vatican cardinals who have sought to put the 2011 Assisi edition in the correct light: That it is merely a pilgrimage of people of different faiths, and that it in no way will involve any religious syncretism, or combining of different beliefs and practices.

Rome, Italy, Jul 27, 2011 / 05:55 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- An extensive online book written by Anders Behring Breivik criticizes Pope Benedict XVI for defending the rights of immigrants, especially Muslims.

In his manifesto, “2083—European Declaration of Independence,” Breivik calls Benedict XVI “God’s Rottweiler,” and accuses him of “embodying elements of the sensible and the silly Christian ways of treating the Islamic threat.

“Although Benedict has stressed the need for 'reciprocity' in Christian-Muslim relations and urged Islamic countries to ensure religious rights for Christian migrants, he has also said that Christians should continue welcoming Muslim immigrants with open arms,” Brievik wrote.

Breivik was arrested for detonating a car bomb at the government headquarters in downtown Oslo on July 22. That attack took the lives of eight people and injured many more.

Hours later he appeared at a youth camp for the children of the political Labour Party on Utoya Island. Dressed as a police officer, he began a shooting spree that killed 68.

Massimo Introvigne, a sociologist and representative of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, recently spoke with Vatican Radio and responded to reports labeling Breivik as a fundamentalist Christian.  [Imagine the glee of the atheists.]

Introvigne said it was ironic that Breivik’s book was posted online by a minister of the “Church of Satan,” which is legally recognized in Norway. He added that Breivik, who was baptized in the Lutheran Church of Norway, is not a fundamentalist Christian, but rather a ‘cultural Christian’ who uses the Christian heritage of Europe as a pretext for attacking Islam.”

The sociologist also pointed out that Breivik belongs to the Grand Masonic Lodge of Norway.
