A HONEST TO GOODNESS QUESTION
WHICH part of the Holy Mass is this supposed to be?
Or is this outside Mass, just around an altar?
But I see an altar in the background. So what is this table with flowers?
Looks like a neo cathecumenate ceremony. At the back I recognize the icon originally painted by their founder. What strange church is this? No tabernacle, priests chair in front of altar, empty saints niches and a cross with an image of the risen Lord to its side.
Hi!
ReplyDeleteThis is for sure a Neo Catechumenal 'Mass'.
The square altar, the Jewish Menorah, the rondalla at the left and the dancing around the altar.

ReplyDeletemy bad. I forgot about the neocatechumenal mass
DeleteDefinitely Neocatechumenal Way.
ReplyDeleteAFAIK the celebratory dance neocats do is done after the mass, after the celebrant priest gives the final blessing and after the closing song.
