Some blog posts comment the arrangement of the six candlesticks as a compromise.

Hmmm...

Just as long we have six and a seventh on the altar, the Benedictine arrangement is great with me. Slowly but surely!

    The sublime dignity but still majestic of the Mass of Paul the VI is here to see. The Pope is wearing simple but majestic vestments.
