How to mercifully torture a narcissistic priest

You know the kind that does not say Mass unless it is...

in a very classy Mall...

or in TV....

or the stipend is only P400.00

like these fellows here:

The "Power Point" priest who spends much of his energy trying to make himself entertaining with his hodge podge of a sermon.

The "SM Megamall" priest who loves dancers at his Mass and who has the audacity to tell the whole world that he got a freebie from the owner of the Mall, by asking her "Where do you sell you washing machines here?"

The "Probably-Not-Catholic-anymore" priest who still doesn't know whether he'll stay in the clerical state or not.

The "Wish List Priest" who asked online for the latest gadgets and rubber shoes to make him happy.  Oh, do you remember how he celebrated his Mass with his friends.....on a yacht?

Wait for future posts.  I have other mind-boggling photos about this one.  Last I heard, some of his fellow priests in his diocese in Chicago protest to his extravagant lifestyle.  One priest called him a "freeloader".  In Tagalog, "mahilig magpalibre kahit hindi mo ayain."  Kinda like the altar server I know.

BUT ANYWHO..........

And lastly....

Never mind.

HERE ARE MY SUGGESTIONS:

1. Make them celebrate Mass, facing the altar, non-televised like this.  It's not TLM.  It's Novus Ordo, ad orientem

2. Make them wear the cassock all the time like this.

3. Make them live in a room like this.

Most probably, they'll never survive in an environment where no one admires them, or no one claps at them, no one laughs at their mundane jokes, and most probably after a month, they'll look like this....

Kidding!

I still hope and pray that these priests reform their lives and emulate our Lord.

"Perceiving then that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by himself." (John 6:15)

And may they speak the words spoken by John the Baptist.

"He must increase, but I must decrease"
(John 3:30)

STOP OVER-PAMPERING OUR PRIESTS!

THEY NEED OUR PRAYERS, NOT OUR ADULATION!

  1. These priests turned poster boys must have spent more of their time trying to look good than anything else.

  2. Priests sometimes forgets that their prayer life and church life are important than the social and materialistic world where they stand...
Yes they are humans like us but it is our job as lay people to guide them and pray that their ministry will be guided by God.
