  1. Where is this, sir? It is not proper to have the Bible in the sanctuary, and to put it in equal footing with the Real Presence in the tabernacle, which the above arrangement seems to suggest. True, Jesus is the Word Who became flesh; and as the written word of God, we hold the Bible in high esteem as one of the basis of our faith. But let us not be too literal about it.

  3. Mr. Pinoy Catholic,

No, this is not in Project 8. This is in Our Lady of Hope Parish in Bagong Pag-Asa, Quezon City. This Church is located just in the back of SM North EDSA. This is for clarificatory purposes....

  4. One thing more.....Sir Robert: Yeah, you are indeed correct. But the Liturgy is the reflection of the theology that is been taught in our Seminaries nowadays. If the Liturgy is flawed, the theology is quite erroneous. And the Tabernacle should NOT be placed in the side nor it is placed in the level of the bible. Bible, yes is the word of God but doesnt have the real presence. However, the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist in the Tabernacle must be emphasized by placing him on the center, the very heart of the Church and the bible doesnt have a real presence as in the Holy Eucharist so therefore, it is aptly that the bible enthronement should not be placed on the sanctuary...

  6. The Bible is not an icon. It is a book. It deserves a prominent bookshelf in the Church.
