Words of wisdom: The alleged spirit of Vatican II

"The truth is that this particular Council defined no dogma at all, and deliberately chose to remain on a modest level, as a merely pastoral council; and yet many treat it as though it had made itself into a sort of 'superdogma' which takes away the importance of all the rest."

Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger

  1. And to think that all the vitriol, hatred, confusions - and in the case of the Philippines - the divisive atmosphere caused by the contention about the deceptively named 'Reproductive Health' emanated from that confusion...the father of lies is indeed a liar from the beginning causing havoc to fragile humanity.

It is certainly comforting that the Mother of God, our Blessed Mother, who more and more is showing her predilection in favor of the Philippines and Filipinos, gave us her promise, "...but in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph."

May the Filipino Race and all her citizens, like the Maccabees family,

stay firm firm and steadfast in their faith in the true God, and confidence in His Church, the Roman Catholic Church.

And I dare say, just as Solzhenitsyn said of Russia, "Filipino's destiny is interwoven with the Roman catholic Church. Filipino Catholics believe firmly that God keeps in mind some special purpose for the Philippines that has global repercussion, but certainly not to become another presumptuous and egoistic superpowers of which the world and humanity is already sick of.

"10 Who is she that comes forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in array?" [Song of Songs 6:10, http://www.newadvent.org/bible/son006.htm]
